I was all Napier. However, if Steele is wanting Briles Sr and hires some cold blooded recruiters I wouldn't hate the hire. Clark would be a failure. Brown too.

Someone is pushing info that is not true. Not sure who it is, but I cant believe anyone at this point. Clark was never offered, yet the AL.com types are pushing he was and declined. I dont think Nap made it to an offer, either.

TL;DR he alerted the proper authorities (most importantly Star) and the admins ignored his concerns. It is up to the reader on his actual involvement.

If Steele is made HC, I don't see how Garner doesn't get promoted to DC. It is clearly what the power have been trying to make happen.

Briles, Sr. would be a fine OC hire. I think he was proven to not be responsible for the rape stuff at Baylor.
He's an old frick though like Steele, so he would be a recruiting liability.

We have no clue what Napier and Clark were demanding, too. If we are being honest, both are unknowns. If they are making these wild financial demands, we would be best looking around. Neither are Saban. Sark isn't worth 6 MM per year. He is a recovering alcoholic and was average as a HC. It is difficult, but I will try and hold my judgment until we are through this process.

If Sark and Nap think they will have the autonomy at Bama after Saban leaves then good luck. That place will be swimming with sharks.

Official offer or not, something is causing this to go very poorly. It’s not like these coaches don’t have reputations and personalities that are unknown to the BOT.

Would there be any way, if we weren't a shite show, that we would go after Mark Stoops? He has done some really good stuff with Kentucky, I can't imagine what he could do with the recruiting resources (see: bagmen) we have
