Rob Shuler literally talked about this earlier today. He’s a former player and well connected.

Name me a successful national championship winning coach that isnt a scumbag
Vince Dooley for one, and as much as he is arrogant and we loved to hate him back in the day, I wouldn't say Spurrier is a scumbag either. Just for two guys from the 80s on that won championships and had very successful careers.
I'd say Don James and Gene Stallings would probably qualify as well.

At this point, it feels like the #StopSteele needs to start back in full force as a reminder that the fans don't want Steele as the HC.

And if it didn’t really happen, and it sounds like it did, I say keep the info going to prevent Kevin Steele from being HC.

Well, apparently it scared the money guys bad enough that they’re backing the Brinks truck up to a big time coach.

Gus' main problem was his refusal to recruit at a high level. I am not sure we know enough about Sark to say the same.
Gus’s biggest problem was he never developed into a CEO type coach. He dabbled in it, and maybe he somewhat committed to it with Morris, but he wouldn’t let go of the offense. He had the budget to hire any offensive coordinator in the country but decided to fill the position with young guys to carry his clipboard. Coordinators are flourishing at Clemson, Bama, LSU...and other good programs around the country.
One of my first management jobs, I was promoted rapidly and pretty proud of myself. I busted my arse, put in long hours...gave everything I had. I had some corporate guys come in for training one week a few months later and one of the VPs lit into me because of how bad the unit that I left performed after I was gone. I wanted the promotion (to win) so bad, I didn’t trust anyone else to do the job. I got promoted, but didn’t develop anyone. Fortunately, I learned from it and that lesson stuck with me. Gus may have learned too late.

I love you man. I really do. You are one passionate mother fricker and I certainly respect that.
But your “big time coach” wants is going to go the route of your quarterback crush on Gatewood. LOL. Please man. Don’t get your hopes up too high. I don’t want to see you crash again.

I have no idea if he’ll accept. Just that a major offer has been made. If not, I’ll be happy with Napier.

Gus just doesn't have the skillset to be a CEO head coach. He's not a fantastic recruiter, and is more of a scheme guy than a super motivator. He really never had much of a chance to succeed as that type of head coach.

I don’t know about his sauces. I think every bodies sauces are terrible in this bitch.
I just think Jville wants it so bad, he believes it. Life has not broke his spirit yet. Just give it time.
Jville, if you don’t mind. How old are you baw?

The mark of great leadership is how a system performs once they are gone.
