Freeze kept telling us how bad we are and many didn’t pay attention. Yes it’s frustrating but it is what it is this season. Carry on.

We all know we’re supposed to suck.

We all didn’t know Freeze would actively make decisions that hurt us in games we’re in that we’re not supposed to be in.

Our coaches hands are tied.

Nobody is saying we should be putting up 40 a game and slinging it all over the field. We should be able to average over 100 yards passing a game, have more than 26 yards passing (until garbage time) at home against a mediocre at best defense in game 7, show some modicum of improvement, look something like a 21st century offense. There are teams all over the country with talent similar to ours who can at least put something respectable on the field.

Like someone said yesterday, we are Iowa offensively and there's really no way to understate how pitiful that is.

Yep. We are actively trying not to pass. The coach’s hands are tied some because Thorne refuses to see open receivers. It is almost intentional at this point that he will completely ignore wide open people.

Now, the coach’s should be at least trying some stuff. Do some screens, some easy stuff to get guys in rhythms. Use the fact defenses are biting hard on any run fake and flow backside against them. We were running a ton of 3 TE sets last night with two TE’s split out wide with a WR between them. How could we not throw a bubble screen to that?

The talent gap ain’t that big to suck like we do. Put recruiting aside, Freeze and his staff are making it harder for us to win.

I guess our defensive talent is better than everyone else. Just offense talent sucks.

Why is he doing it? What benefit is it providing?

It rarely works and when it’s clear it’s not then you pick one make the offense better around one. It feels like alot of excuses. 12 men on field, they look poorly coached offensively and there is no excuse for that.

I have heard him say couple times before the bye week that he wanted to look at our tendencies and all of that so I am sure there is a structure and an explanation for what he is doing here. I have seen him put in Thorne and call a RB play. It isnt like all the plays are constantly a tell.

I do not understand his packages a whole lot, but when he has a true freshman RB get a lion's share of the carries because of the personnel package I think Hugh is operating under a scheme more advanced than first or second string.

I dont think either one will make the offense better.

He has to break tendencies. I think that is what he was doing anyway.

At least he is trying to break the tendencies. Gus woud have the announcers calling the plays from the booth.

Patience. Get out 6-7 wins this season

That will be a tall task. I truly believe all the remaining games are toss ups at this point. Mississippi State likely beats us, Arkansas beats us, Alabama beats us. All those teams are getting better, we’re going in the wrong direction. We will be lucky to survive Vanderbilt and New Mexico State. Best case scenario is 5-7, worst case is 3-9

Good thing the coaches read this board and made adjustments. Have faith. Win the next three, go to 7-4. Let’s start with Vandy.

meh. I already marked the bottom of free-fall. We are going bowling from here. It is up to Freeze to do work now. The whole "I was recruiting all the way up to the hour of gametime" excuse isnt going to work next year.

How can that be the cause?

One QB passes the ball ......

The other is a target .....
