AU Eagle was awesome. That's where I started following recruiting and all this stuff. I was mostly a lurker on there though. There's been all of one recruit I've had actual inside info on

Same here. Found it while searching for recruiting info right before signing day 2010. I saw them post about taking the riff raff to the "infamous tigerdroppings." Started reading over here and right after signing day they had a thread on the LSU recruiting board (then the only recruiting board) about Keihl Frazier. I signed up specifically to post "AU lock" in that thread

I enjoyed AE thoroughly. The AUF merger ruined it, IMO. AUF has a MOD that insists on locking two of every five threads no matter how it is going. I enjoy differing points of view. On AUF, you must pump sunshine or they take their ball and go home.

I just went for the recruiting info mostly and when they merged they stopped posters from posting premium info and that pretty much ruined it.

I enjoyed AE for awhile. Mostly the recruiting board. That was the first website that I ever posted on.
Once I realized TD wasn't what the posters there made it out to be I made the switch and never looked back

Thats because I've been a respected member of that forum since back when it was called AU Nation. Prior to the merger happening I told RunInRed (one of the original AU Nation Admins) that I had been banned some 3-4 times off Auburn Eagle for absolutely mundane shite (such as arguing that LaMichael Fanning was overrated, and telling some dude that his ranking of instate prospects was bad). They all already knew what AE was like so I basically got an assurance that the tight-arse AE Admins/Mods that were coming over wouldn't be able to do shite to me.
I even told him that there was no way in hell that that poof 'guerra aguila' should retain Moderator powers once the merger was complete. God that kid was a wad.
I'm not invincible but everyone over there knows what to expect from me. I did just receive a one day ban that was lifted last night for calling some guy retarded.

Whatever happened to the Mayor of Chillville? If I remember right, he was a pretty good guy and poster, but he had some kind of serious back surgery and I haven't seen anything from him since (not that I've tried to). He OK?

I just opened facebook and saw the following headline on my home page, "The cannons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers stadium go boom, but Auburn's bringing some boom of its own for the Outback Bowl!" I almost fell over, then I realized they were just talking about hard hits..
