well I hate it and don't want to seem like a brat but he will be looking for another job in 2 or 3 years. He failed at the easiest school to win at in the East and not just by Florida standards, by SEC football standards. They won't tolerate him losing 6 to 7 games a year.

Good luck to him and I hope TRob does well.

Just really hope Trob can move in to the DC role in a way that keeps Muschamp's progress moving along.

Good luck to him, should, have waited another year or two. However, when you are the guy that got dumped by the prom queen (UF) I guess you just need to frick a fat chick (SC).

I don't even give a frick. Let him go. South Carolina is fricked, and someone undeserving will get an awesome DC in the near future. Though Auburn's talent is fricked if we don't hand Travaris the keys, and without meddling (why the frick is this still happening). Still think it's funny USCleast waited so long. They're going back to the Steve Taneyhill days where they belong.

I just don't get it. The guy failed miserably as a head coach at Florida. They made a new hire, and Florida makes the SEC Championship. Boom comes to Auburn, and our defense wasn't noticeably better than last year, yet they hire Muschamp? What am I missing?

Too bad. Muschamp is walking into a burning mess of a program and it's not going to work for him

Auburn will be fine.

They want a "name". He is the best they could do. Sounds like several people turned them down. If he gets a good OC, who can recruit O, he will be a great HC, IMO. I think he concentrated too much on recruiting the D side of the ball at UF. Maybe he has learned from that.

Gus has done the same thing on the O side of the ball for us. I hope he has learned also.

What's the story on your sudden Iowa fandom? Or is it a matter of you being a fan for a while and just not having much to cheer for? Aren't you a Hoover native?

My dad is from Iowa and his side of the family is Hawkeye fans. I grew up in Hoover and my moms whole side went to Auburn. I grew up die hard Auburn but also rooting for Iowa. Just as many baby pics of baby Bowl in Iowa gear as Auburn gear.

Always rooted for them openly on here. Ask the LSU fans and Tennessee fans from the last two bowl games and Mizzou wrestling fans that I've pissed off. Just a lot more reason to do it consistently this year.
