Torne started out hot garbage. At the end of the first quarter, Thorne threw two straight first down throws. The quarter ends and Ashford starts the second. Runs the series and we punt in a hurry.

At the end of the quarter is when Freeze was interviewed and he said we threw it to the wrong side of the field twice, we arent making our reads. Maybe they were completions to the wrong receivers.

Read jt33s comments earlier. That great throw and catch by Fairweather on 3rd down. If he had thrown to his primary receiver to begin with it was probably a touchdown, or at least a far greater gain.

I sensed that was Freeze frustration, he even voiced it after the game, we had a good plan coming out of the half with adjustments, we just did not execute it.

I rewatched part of the game. Thorne sucked in the 1st half, but got it going in the 2nd. He came through in the 4th with his throw for the long 3rd down conversion and his throw to Fairweather for the TD. I doubt Robby would have been able to make either play. (Although the 3rd down throw was underthrown and Fairweather made a shoestring catch).

Speaking of that - does anyone have the full game accessible on Youtube?

I doubt it right now. Usually it takes them a couple days to put it up. I do know SEC Network will re-air it this week at some point.

Need to air raid Samford with Thorne try and put 400 yards passing on film so TAMU won’t stack the box on us

Qb rotation also disrupted the flow of the offense.

This, plus penalties, and turnovers. We had 4 turnovers and I think 7 offensive penalties

And yet we still won. Amazing testament to our teams resiliency

Yes I still contend that 2012 is the only time I every saw an Auburn football team quit.

Sure there have been moments when a player started loafing but 2012 the entire team quit in the aTm game and really never got up off the mat after that

I made it through the game but took a snack break at half time.

Legit move. I just kept drinking till the end of the first quarter. I felt like I needed to quit and pay attention to what was going to happen next

Our boy CJ got the best of Aaron Rodgers.

quote:

Aaron Rodgers looks good in orange, amirite? He just has to work on that War Eagle. The New York Jets quarterback lost a friendly wager with teammate and former Auburn star C.J. Uzomah and paid the price by rocking a Tigers jersey after Hugh Freeze’s guys went to California on Saturday and beat Cal - Rodgers’ college team - 14-10. As you can see in the video below, Uzomah urged the quarterback to give a “War Eagle,” but Rodgers just laughed.

Robby is a mediocre passer and is a turnover liability.

Not defending Robbie, but PT had maybe the worst first play fumble in Auburn history.

I’m still scarred from MSU 2014, the iron bowl 2014, and LSU 2018. First drive TO’s comes with being an AU fan.

2) Who still believes "Hunter > Bigsby"? Hunter is quickly climbing the ranks of the most fan-overrated AU players in recent memory. Fun fact, he has now fumbled in 3 of his last 4 games.

Likely a lot of cross-over with the JJ > Nick Marshall crowd.
