It’s also a long season. They had the W early at home. Don’t care if they go 110% to the buzzer there

Some sad boys in here because they lost some bets

We held down a team which was one of only 4 to average 80 or so points to 68. They are a physical team and get to the line a lot and we controlled that. No students and still the arena was cooking. We need to have some sloppy games where we derp it and still coast by 18 so that we put some stuff on film to work on. I am sure BP get on them for that.

Not saying we looked great overall for the most part in our nonconference, however, the teams we are playing now know our tendencies and will be prepared to defend us much better. That’s why I hate that we go into our lulls and allow teams to get back in the game. I wish Pearl would call timeouts when that happens to get the team focused again.
As for UT, yea, that happens when you are just wanting to get out, but they were zoned in against Arkansas, who is much better than Mizzou, and look what they did. Even though we let off the gas as many have said, we still got dominated on the boards and had 16 turnovers. Have that stat line against any good team and we will lose.
And I think Texas is an average team at best, a little better than Mizzou, but it’s on the road, and we haven’t done great on true road games for a while. Should we win? Yes, we should win by double digits, but if we don’t clean up our mistakes from this game, then it will be a loss.

I was taking you at your word on this but Iust looked and they had 2 more rebounds than us. The difference was on the offensive board, but we also shot 57% from the field so had far less opportunities for offensive boards.

Auburn was favored by 18. We won by 16

Homie lost money and is posting through it.

Has to be. We were up 25ish with 10 to go and it was never close.

I personally am ready to see us get challenged a little more. Tight games will grow a team more than anything else

Enjoy the season. Even tho we are favored to win a national championship at this point it’s still going to be extremely difficult and probably won’t happen. I hope it does but it’s hard to do, have to be hot for 6 games, and get some breaks to go your way.

Yes we will probably have a few losses in conference. I predicted us to go 16-2 in conference play just last week. So my expectations is an SEC championship as well.

Not sure your age and not that it should matter but as a long long long Auburn basketball fan. I was at games when Barkley played. I was in the gym the night Chuck Person broke the scoring record and so on. This is the best Auburn team I have ever seen. My advice would be to sit back and enjoy the season.

When we lose come here and say what we can improve on but a near 20 point win we want to celebrate unless there are obvious glaring issues that become common game over game.

He believes it. I hope Bruce feels similarly to him just to make sure guys aren’t complacent, but I don’t think anything that happened today was cause for concern.

I don't remember the quote exactly but Bruce said a few days ago that the rest of the season is going to be like playing Iowa St or Houston or Duke every game.
That is a pretty sobering testament to what we're facing.

We've butt rammed everyone we've played since Iowa state outside of Duke. It does get boring. The times we've needed to put 40 minutes together like Houston, Iowa state, and Duke we have done so and had incredible second halves. I'll worry about this team when they give me reason to.

Every game since what, Duke? has been a laugher by 5 minutes into the second half. Looking forward to some of these road games to challenge us for sure. You don’t find out who you are in the second half of these games lol

Auburn where this was always an expected win and should have been a 25-30 point blowout,

You need to lay off the video games.
