Doesn’t matter if you can’t coach.

Again, does anyone remember Jimbo at aTm.

That is our current situation, maybe worse.

I am happy for Lashlee but I will pass on him. I dont know what I want, but not him. I say take another pass at Kiffin if anything.

The only thing that Hugh is doing right now is recruiting, and his recruiting will die if he doesn't win games next year. He's not lining up a Top 5 class in year #3 unless he is winning - you can't fool elite HS recruits for that long.

So no, he absolutely is not a lock for 2 more years. If next season is a flop then his recruiting will tank and his young talent that's on the roster already will bolt, at which point what is the point of bringing him back for year #4?

This year's recruiting class might not even survive if we keep losing. And wait till we hit the offseason and other teams start hitting up Coleman, Riddick, etc. This can get very ugly very quickly for Freeze.

No clue if Lashlee wants the Auburn job, but he feels like he'll be our next hire. He meets all the qualificaitons.

I have a friend who thinks we go after Tulane's coach. Says we need to hire a defensive coach next.

I just always thought he got a raw deal here.

I knew he was a pretty good coach but didn’t think he would be this good.

I’ve always pulled for him.

His stock keeps rising.

And yes, he would fit in quite well here.

Up to the leadership up top with the money.

Sumrall would be a good hire, he’s a good coach and a culture builder. No clue if he would take it though, Auburn $ and admin only support coaches they can control.

Rhett is at SMU.
They can match or exceed any offer anyone makes.
Why would he want to come here?

Hugh needs a quality transfer QB. That is our main issue. IF we had just a competent QB, we have one loss.

His ability to win in his current situation does not mean he could have the same success at Auburn.
