From there it moved to the Informal Resolution Process, which is the fact-finding mission handled inside the Title IX department. After interviews with the alleged victim as well as a witness and Simmons, they found Simmons not responsible.
My guess... The witness is doing a favor.
In the vast majority of DV cases the girl goes back to the guy. In this case she went back to him and is living with him again. Most likely going to drop all charges and not pursue. That means there's nothing the University can do and really nothing the police can do. So now we just have to hope he doesn't abuse her or someone else while he's still on the team. He's going to get away with it for now.
I hope at the very least Freeze, Cohen and whoever else are making him take some counseling.

That began with Simmons being placed on an Interim Notice of Removal. That basically meant he wasn't allowed on campus for anything other than final exams or to meet with the EOC.

Not sad. The truth is I expect it in sports these days. No point in going back and forth about it anymore though. He's on the team and no one here has any say in it at all, so ultimately we are just wasting time. Its a dead topic for now.
