Turnovers and a QB and defense that chokes when the game is on the line.

Sure. Throw that in, too.

Edit: I'll add, though, that execution seems to be a bigger issue than the playcalling.

Saw this this morning and was coming to post it.

Just an incredible stat. This team finds new and creative ways to lose. The bad momentum seems tough to stop. I feel like we have the ability to win these games, but not the will. It's just strange and every game, I'm just waiting for the suck to show up and it does.

Whatever it is, Hugh needs to exercise the demon and win some winnable games.

That's an insane stat.

Goes to show that you can't just look at stats and predict how a game is going to go. If we saw that before the season, we would have all felt pretty good about where the season was headed. Yet, here we are...

I believe Booger McFarland said this past week, regarding stats:

Statistics are like bikinis they show you somethings, but not everything.

Sounds like decent coaching to me to be leading in both categories.

Our issue is turnovers margins and the team just can’t get over the hump of losing close games. All it takes is 1 close win to change that. OU/Mizz fell out of our hands.

Cam Newton’s year, we had an astonishing amount of games we won by a few.. even the Championship game.

EXECUTION

You can own every stat, but when you fail to put the ball in the endone ....

Who cares while reading the paper on Sunday morning.?

My Dad emphasized that one Saturday Morning.

I stated ."I completed 21 passes for 334 yards, yet no touchdowns."

"Pat yourself on the back .......The team lost again. Now mow the lawn"

That tends to happen when you’re playing the most minutes of Fr. In the Nation.

The fact we’re producing yards and doing well on defense with young players says a lot to me with coaching.

Dumb it down to HS ball.. our team had a dynasty in AL with Championships. How do you think we would have done with a majority of 9th graders starting?

This board is insufferable at times not looking deep and just blame it on coaching. If CHF doesn’t win 8 games next year…

Ive said it before but Freeze needs to lighten up on mistakes and let talent play the way they can.

We have seemed to be too scared to make mistakes and we have turned the ball over less but the offensive creation hasnt been there since the conclusion of the Oklahoma game.

Thorne is a problem at times. But as QB Auburn is averaging 6.5 ypp.

He's a turnover machine and MOST IMPORTANTLY he wilts in the clutch.
Everything you hate in a QB and team leader.

Not really. Before last game he had three interceptions on his fault. He had one fumble last game. So 4 turnovers I hold against him. Freeze's offense produces turnovers and I am willing to look past. I want long drives and TDs.

It seems his OL and defemdr is doing that too.
