The reason they were only 6 points is because we were so far behind that we went for 2 and failed both times.

In the last eight games against P5 opponents, our second half scoring is a whopping 2 TD and 3 FG (I am excluding OT)

No it did not cause we had multiple chances after that in the red zone where our QB fumble a couple exchanges and one where a WR chucked up a prayer. Did you even watch the game? Besides the fact our D had been stout all night. So I can see the logic in the call. I guess you can’t?

There’s a time for that call but not in that situation. You pin them deep and because your defense is playing well, you give them a a better starting point then midfield. Odds are we get the ball at a decent spot and try again. I don’t think sound logic was used in this case.
