Decide when to go for 2 in the winter.
Make a sheet with list of score advantage or deficit in 4th quarter that says whether to go for 1 or 2.
Example, less than 5 minutes to go, down 2, go for 2.
Up 5, go for 2. Down 9, kick. Down 4, kick, up 3, kick, etc
Follow the sheet.

Introduce him to this guy they call a tight end. Tell him that this mystical creature can both block and go out for passes that can be an intermediate route to, I don’t know, maybe help out a 19 year old true freshman QB.

When you are having trouble scoring touchdowns in the redzone, how about trying your big QB and power read your way into the endzone?

That was one play. Should’ve brought him in way before that. I think Malzahn hinted or admitted to that in the post game presser.

Yes exactly, which makes the suggestion moot. 
The point is, I believe he got it on his own. Which is why he used Joey later and said he should have done so earlier.

When you have 1st and goal from the 2, at least try to pound it in with a big guy. If that doesnt work, still dont try to get tricky with little guys.

These three should be rotated with Shivers and Martin used in mop up duty and jet sweeps.
Gus said today in his press conference that it’s a focus, moving forward, to get other RB’s in the rotation. He just didn’t want to take out a veteran guy in that environment but it’s going to happen moving forward so we don’t “wear him (Boobee) down”.

What’s the feedback after 2 weeks in.
My original ask of “run the fricking read option more” still stands. Now I would add to start throwing quick routes that aren’t screens. Slants, hitches, crosses underneath with the pick play.
Please God, Gus just evolve.

Change how you are recruiting offensive linemen. frick, put Garner on it. We HAVE to get better talent in the OL.

Yep, some normal intermediate routes and using the middle of the field would be amazing. It's also foolish to think it's going to all the sudden start happening after 6+ years.
