Can't be. That's a 50 yr old black guy.

ETA:

Look at that pencil sharpener. That photo's got to be from the 80s.

I'm ok with this. With Garrett taking the star position and the lack of need at the fullback in the offense, there probably isn't a lot of need for Landrum. Gaston was just deep into the chart and wasn't going to play. Better to clear some of the roster out now and make room for people who fit better into the system.

Good luck to them but this is a good thing for Auburn football. I have serious doubts about any returning LB that is behind Jake Holland on the depth chart contributing in any meaningful way to our football team and it opens up another scholarship for the next signing class.

so with Landrum leaving early, what would be the problem with bringing in Jimmy Hutchinson now and letting him redshirt and spend a year at Auburn?

We can use the scholarship to reward a walk on for hardwork who is graduating soon. That is very popular and good for team chemistry. Motivates people to work hard.

Jimmy counts back like everyone else in december so wedont lose his counter and now we get two positives

That is what I think is goubg to happeb

I think it's too late for that. Not sure though.

Gaston was a walk on. He left the team and then came back this year as a walk on.

i was looking through my roster sheet and couldn't find Gaston then I remembered that something happened where he wasn't on scholarship.

Not too late but as GC said no point bringing in Jimmy and wasting a RS when he can come in in January as the starter with a redshirt available if needed.
