Recs on a trailer for these small spinnerbaits? I tried some Powerbait minnows, but they cause the spinnerbait to roll over at any retrieve speed. Normally just use the Zoom split tail trailers, but haven't tried that.

No idea. Would have to search on that. The 1/8oz may be too small for one. Maybe a cut down version of the zoom split tail

Fearless,

Bought that Dogfish brew last night. Not my favorite. Good People’s JUCO is the best all day IPA I’ve had, but I can never seem to find it.

I like IPAs, but it didn't really taste like an IPA to me. Still prefer it to my other low-carb options like Ultra and Corona Premier, which are way too watery for my taste.

Love Good People's stuff, but haven't had much luck finding them in P'cola, even at the better stocked outlets.

Seems like I heard most everyone is lagging behind due to a can shortage.

The aluminum can suppliers can't keep up with demand since the virus of '19.

It may work on the 1/4oz micro spinnerbait but 96's 1/8oz is tiny. I have to make a special skirt for them just to keep the size correctly. Has a 35 strain skirt

He is going to have to find something small and cut it down. Personally, I would not put anything on it. The point is that it is small. No need to bulk it up.

But he actually fishes that little dude more than me

Well then, 2 inch crappie grub?

Honestly I read it in passing and had 1/4 oz in my head.

I’ll fish that 1/8 oz until we get into the wet season. Then move to the compact 1/4 oz you sent.

I’ve always fished a spinnerbait with a trailer. It’s a confidence deal. I’ll cut down a Zoom split tail and see how that does. The key is to run straight and not roll over.

Just wait until Fall/Winter when the wife and I start posting those 4+ spots on the ultra lite in the canoe.

Just for the record, I am about to change the look of the 1/8oz buzzbait you are getting from me. The head will probably go from the triangle head that is old school to a shad head like the other buzzbaits I sell.

Same wire exactly. Same hook. Just a fish head style..

Im awaiting samples

I've decided to dry out for a few weeks, but the timing is dreadful. 2020 sucks indeed.

Most of our suppliers are in Latin America. They shut down most of those manufacturers. We are unsure as to what all we will actually be able to get in this Fall.

Good news is that the last several months have been great sales wise. Summer is typically a down season for us, but with all the pent up demand, sales these past couple of months have been great. Unfortunately, it will never make up for what we lost in March and April which are our two biggest months for sales besides Christmas.

I run from the house every Thursday and meet my wife at a local restaurant. Nothing beats an ice cold beer after a long run in this heat and humidity.

I have probably lost 20K in sales just this week due to lack of inventory.

Is is very different for a retailer than a manufacturer. As a manufacturer, once that sale is lost, you cant get it back. It is just gone forever

As good as things were going for a while, now I dont have the major things I need. Shipment was scheduled for July7th. Got pushed to July 21. Got pushed to Aug 1. Still not here. Rescheduled for August 28 now.

Sadface

I truly wish politicians had ANY small business experience. It ought to be required. Again, COVID didn't do anything. The fricking gov't did.

We're a service provider...and feeling the same-every service we miss is not one we can make up later, its just gone. Our providers are doing well to meet 50% of their pre-covid provision, but expenses are all still the same.
Good luck to all you legit grinders.
