You move down south yet?

Wife still has a couple years. Waiting on her. And my account to recover but I honestly think that will happen fairly quick. We are exploring moving to Harbor Isle which is a Town home/Villa community. If we decide to buy there, we dont really need to buy until we are ready to move since there are no rentals there. If we find a house, we would rent it till we move but with the town home, cant so no hurry.

My wife is jacked about Harbor Isle. Im OK with it. But I would love to find a home on the island instead of around the corner in the bay even though I can be on the island by boat in 5 mins.

Still saving and deciding.

I'd love to find a house on the Cahaba somewhere around Bham. Kill two birds with one stone: primary residence and lake house.

The bay house will be more protected during hurricane season. Insurance would probably be slightly less as well

Make sure that there’s enough vaulted ceilings. That’s the key thing that people mess up when purchasing a home

It really is fantastic. I've thrown a lot of spinnerbaits and this is by far the nicest painted blade I've ever seen on one.

Yea, they are very modern. High ceilings and basically everything we need with no outside maintanance. Plus they have a marina where I can keep my boat and not have to trailer it.

Here is an example on Zillow. Close to what we looked at. 3br 2.5 bath....

We make some nice painted stuff. It’s an odd process but it works. I am making some Rainbow Trout colored ones tonight for a guy in Tennessee. Will post a pic tomorrow. My first attempt. LOL.

I do a little bit of both. It just depends on what color I am making. I use a old school ( who would have thought that) artist pen from my Engineering days to do a lot of the details on the baits. Its not available anymore and I have been piecing things together for years to keep that thing working. I "acquired" some extra parts for it last year and should be good for a while now. I also airbrush solid colors and translucent colors to all my heads and blades. That gives it a "hue"

Then we use a epoxy clearcoat to cover everything by hand. That is the hardest thing we do and the most important in the end

Your pearl is easy but some of our colors are a pain in the arse. Its just what we do. None of it is really easy like being able to pull a head out of a package and put some blades on it like most manufactures do

Glad you like them. Hope they work well.

Im still working tonight and will be until 10 or 11. Im going out of town tomorrow night for a few days to Lake Hartwell and Im trying to get everything finished that I can so I am not so far behind next week....

Wow. I never thought south Florida homes would be cheaper than north Florida. That same size house here would be listed over $700k.

It's such a catch-22. In order for me to realize the gain in value of my home, I have to purchase another expensive home
