What cost us the natty was we GAVE UP 50 YARDS ON A frickING SLANT ROUTE! frickKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

Also Chad Slade not blocking on the last play (throwback to Tre).

Everyone has a few plays from that game they remember. I thought the PI in the endzone at the end was bogus and the kickoff return TD was heartbreaking.

If Chris Landry knows so much he should go into the coaching business. He could easily increase his salary by multiple thousands %.

We've won 2 state championships on steals of home in the bottom of the 7th with the game tied. First championship the pitcher balked when our runner took off after coming set. The second championship the pitcher was a lefty and never knew the runner took off and our runner beat the throw and the tag to home.

I wasn't scared to make risky calls like that.

I'm sold.

My new list (in order):

Corch Jay
Coach Prime
Lane Train
Burn the whole thing down

The only way I back coachjay is if we have a AU TD box seat for every hone game.

He'll be on a lot of lists.

There's a very strong chance that he'll be this cycles Tony Elliot, aka "my black friend" candidate who interviews.
Several P5 schools fired their coach several weeks ago. We just fired ours a few days ago, but I have not heard Sanders name mentioned at any other school, other than Auburn. If he is all that a lot are saying, here on this board, why isn't his name being mentioned anywhere else?

The biggest issue on that long return was our guy pulling up lame with a hammy and it was the lane they broke through for the TD.

All that is moot if the kick goes out of the endzone. Parkey was automatic all year doing this.

How would he get a really good OC/DC? Most really good OC/DCs are trying to learn from a HC in order to be an HC themselves. Why would they want to learn from someone that they probably know more than?

Bingo! An elite DC/OC has many options when it comes to jobs. Why would you put your rep on the line, working for a guy who just started coaching? I have a hard time believing an experienced coach, with a proven record is going to take his chance on an experiment with a celebrity coach that is just starting out.

Because they all know he’s headed to Auburn.

You think Prime is gonna go to Nebraska??? Or Arizona State??? Lmao. I’m not sure he would even come to Auburn much less those two!

Your right. A successful SWAC coach with two years experience in college should be holding out for when Belichek retires.

There isn't an FCS coach alive that wouldn't accept the Arizona or Nebraska job, if offered.

This is why you fail to grasp the Prime thing overall. You don’t understand and that he is a lot more than what you see on his Wikipedia coaching resume.

He would never in a million years take either of those jobs. I’d bet my life on it. Auburn? Very iffy. Florida State? Almost certainly.

Ok I get it now. I need to disregard logic, facts and evidence. Simply buy into the cult of personality and run with it.

I don’t mind if you don’t think Auburn should hire him. That’s whatever. The fact that you think he should or would leap at the opportunity to go coach in Arizona just shows how much you misunderstand his draw, though.

If he's all that, why couldn't he be successful at Arizona, Wisconsin, or Nebraska? He turned around a shitty program in a shitty conference, right? Hell, Saban is pulling kids out of Hawaii and California. Coach Prime can't do that? You seem to think I am saying he would take a job at one of those schools, but your reading comprehension is failing you. I'm asking why he isn't being mentioned for any of those jobs? GA Tech not a viable option either?

Why are you such an insecure and condescending prick? You don’t ALWAYS have to talk down to people to get your point across. Chill man.

I think he could be successful at those places but I think he is probably happier at Jackson State resurrecting an HBCU than he'd be at those schools. I think there are very few schools he'd leave for. Don't think he is just itching to be a P5 head coach at all.

He was a primary name being thrown around at GA Tech after Collins was fired.
