Does Auburn still support Harsin?

It’s not cool to pack in A-Day anymore. Old fad. The Masters were on. Large cross over audience.

If we were good or even hopeful that we would be good it’d be packed out.

We are bad and will be bad but hey at least Harsin talks tough

TJ moved the ball and looked like he could do it more consistently than not. He's obviously no world beater but I feel like he'd give us a decent shot against teams we can compete with.

How has this board regressed back to right after the GA State game?

That picture was taken at the very end I'm guessing?

When I was there, both side lines of the lower bowl were pretty full. A lot more than I expected honestly.

I’m with you. I would bet spring game attendance is down across the board. It was a fun little fad a decade ago but it’s just not a fun experience other than being in the stadium and city.

I used to go every year but it’s just not worth it to me now, especially now that they’re more condensed and I can watch at home or on my phone.

Yea they are way more condensed. That was kind of my point. Wasn’t AU playing baseball right after though

Crowd was what I expected maybe 8-10k.

We are slow at every level on offense and defense. I mean like slow slow. Like Beliema slow at Arky teams. Maybe a running back with a little speed maybe a wide out with some speed but over all team speed is severely lacking.

I think the X’s and O’s Offensively are fine but will not be competitive against top 25ish teams.

Defensively I will never accept the 3-4 as a base for Auburn. It’s a fine defense for pros and teams that get elite talent at all 3 levels but sets you up to not give up the big play and just get worked an entire game. We will rarely hold teams under 70-75 plays.

Missed short FG. Other special teams mistakes.

Technically the team could be improved but the talent drop off is shocking.

frick it I’m all in. We win 7 this year and get to say we are improving. No not really I think we go 5-7

My thoughts after watching spring game:

- Idk what Cublic is smoking, but Ashford is definitely in the thick for the starting QB spot. Dude is an athlete, and he’s more accurate passing than Finley. I would’ve liked to have seen him hit that deep ball on the scramble tho. Finley would’ve been sacked several times in a real game, where Ashford would’ve scrambled for a lot of yards.

- Disappointed to not see any big plays on offense again.

- Wesley “big papa pump” Steiner has improved a lot since fall. He was filling run gaps really well.

- Geriner will be really good one day.

- The little bodybuilder can’t kick field goals. Not sure who that was.

- Frazier made some really good catches at TE. All the TEs played well in the passing game.

I wouldn’t give much thought to the kickers. Anders is still hurt and the freshman isn’t here yet.

Bedell said Frazier is much improved, FWIW. Guessing we see him more

I didn’t. It was just weird seeing this short/jacked guy kicking, when we’re used to seeing tall skinny guys.

We are going to be 12 and 13 personell like Iowa State next year. What were you expecting? We have five really good TE's in their own way and about four WR's.

I’m fine with the offensive philosophy. However outside of Tank, Shenker is our best player not that it’s bad but we are going to have to 12-15 play teams down the field.

If we are able to convert running and throwing on 3rd and 4 or less at about 65% we can be a decent offense if we can’t we will really struggle. We will have to almost win the turnover battle most games to have a chance late in the 4th quarter.

I love the use of TEs and we have some decent ones but none a really playmakers. I worry about not having any explosiveness and having to try to hang on to games scoring 20-24 pts a game.

I will also say if I’m a 5th or 6th year OL expecting to start and really turn it on. Every leg day for workouts you better have your arse out on the sleds drive blocking for 30-40 reps. Just the push not worrying angles or anything just whipping the imaginary guy in front of you. Hands inside feet planted engaging the hips and drive over and over. Our only hope next year in my opinion.
