Still a chance for Patterson or Strong, but I think they go to Arkie and Tennessee. If Petterson goes to Arkie it gives us a chance for Patterson.

I agree with this for the most part. However, SEC>>>Big. 12 and who knows if the man wants a change. My hope if he does that Auburn will be his choice.

I am getting it from multiple sources, including 247, Rivals, because my internal sources are asking some of the same questions as I am. (Hint.. I have friends (students) who work in the AD office, some Talon folks, and other heavy hitters.
Remember I am older than most of the posters on message boards. The Talon folks, one wanted BP, one wanted Jimbo.

This whole coaching search seems to be a shitshow with everyone pulling in different directions and anytime they think they make ground they let something out to friends.
Not trying to discredit you but just feel like it is a mexican standoff between all the different camps

I would not call it a standoff, just you have to interview certain people (Smart). You also had to interview certain people before hiring BP, so we can say we went through a process. I have been saying I do not know who we will hire. No way to discredit anyone when it comes to a search because you never know the whole story.
