Will be a big get. DB is ultra important this year and next if we want to stay at the top on defense.

I think Pogue is really going to help on our pass rush from Buck because you know he will bust his tail to learn and teach everything there is to know about it. Someone will step up at that position this year and should make it easier to keep getting solid players there.

Even with poor OL recruiting we have still had 2 SEC POY running backs since 2013.

I would argue our poor OL recruiting has really just been the last few years and we are just feeling the brunt of it the last couple of years. Early on in his tenure I feel like we had solid line recruiting and line play.

When would you consider early? He's only been the head coach 7 years. So in 2016 didn't we give up more tackles for loss then any team in the nation. Not just sacks but rushes for a loss as well. Maybe we didn't finish last I can't remember but we had some horrendous number of plays that resulted in negative yardage.

Man I just went back and looked and it's been so bad really for a while. The one year we signed a good class on paper Ashley turned out to be a bust and Troxell and Brahms have had so many injury issues. It's been said a million times but until we fix this issue we will not compete for championships in this conference.

OL is the one group recruiting rankings are not as valid in evaluating potential. Athletism and development are the keys to success. We had poor development. Looks like this new OL coach has potential. I like our guys on board.

Didn't get to watch because the stream wouldn't load for me.. I've said it before though, I think if he was 2 inches taller and 10 lbs heavier would be in the discussion for top S this year. This is a big get for us.

So I don’t follow as much as I used to, but how the hell do we not have a single Georgia recruit? I looked up the state rankings and it didn’t even look like we were in contention from the 247 predictions for any of the top 50 in Georgia. When is the last time we haven’t had a single kid from Georgia in a class? Ever?

Unleas something changes, the state of Georgia has about half of the 4* recruits they usually have in a given recruiting class.

We struck out on Barrett Carter, Dylan Fairchild, and Cody Brown. We let Aaron McLaughlin go. Seemed like we led for periods of time for Nyland Green and Deon Colzie but neither look likely at this point. We’re in on Mims but that’s a long shot.

UGA is going a really good job focusing on in-state kids this cycle and without a deep class to pull from they’ve locked down about half of the top guys in state and it looks like Clemson will take their usual share too. It’s just a weird year there
