Hear he is all Bama and Clemson is second. This comes from the dad of his 7v7 qb that’s actually moving to Pinson this year to play

Not surprised at all and I would look for that to be extended even further. Not that important right now considering

Guarantee Skirby and $aban are contacting kids all along, or at least their bagmen are.

This 2021 class will be a very interesting study for a lot of reasons.

Here’s a few oddities:

It seems probable there’s no camps this summer. No skills competitions, 7v7’s, etc.

Assuming we have a season, coaches will have to do the bulk of their recruiting during the season.

If the season is cancelled, what happens with recruits this cycle? They’ll retain eligibility along with the current team. Some players will inevitably move on, but likely not enough for a full class at each school. Wondering if the NCAA increases scholarships.

And to wrap this up, athletic departments have massive expenses that are typically paid for by massive revenue. Gotta imagine the expenses are outpacing the revenue in leaps and bounds right now with the cash cow on the horizon in jeopardy.

I agree, but the spring sports are always i think in the red so the schools should have saved a little money(other than scholarships), by not having any operational costs or travel costs to pay for all the spring sports.

The problem WILL be devastating to the AD budgets, as you say, if we have to cut back or cancel the football season.

There is no bailout for sports, especially college sports.

Right. The issue is the impact on the season and the variety of revenue streams stemming from the season. I imagine they’re already seeing some of those streams reduced to a trickle

SIAP. It's not a full list but here are some positional numbers Keith is hearing AU will take in the class

QB 1
RB 2
WR 2-3 (leaning 2)
TE 1
LB 1-2
S 2

Rivals regional analyst Sam Spiegelman made a post on 4* QB Dematrius Davis on the Bunker yesterday. SS covers Texas-Louisiana like Chad Simmons does Georgia & Alabama. Here are the highlights...

-AU offered right after Morris got to AU
-AU making a move despite his long commitment to VT
-May OV soon after the dead period ends whenever that may be
-Morris has hand-picked Davis as "his guy" for this class
-AU is selling AU having better talent around him on O than VT to work with
-VT struggling to recruit high quality on O is a concern for DD
-If Sam could put in a pick right now for DD it would be to AU
-Keith got wind of this on 247 & said AU's plan was to already have had DD visit & then flipped before the Summer started had the Covid-19 not broke out

Seems really accurate. Kinda reminds me of Mayfield I'm worried he may not be fast enough though. I don't really trust a QB in our offense if they aren't a true dual threat

That was my only concern watching his highlights. A majority of his highlights were pocket passes with a few runs. He looks pretty accurate though.

I’m more worried about his bench press. Especially since gyms are closed.

He definitely looks to throw more, or at least that’s what the tape shows. His junior season video ends with a couple promising runs.

His RBs last year were 5* Zachary Evans and a 3* guy that went to Utah State. He still picked up over 1K rushing

He’s also got a high 4* he’s throwing to in Shadrach Banks and a 2022 guy that’s probably a 4* ATH

Jr Stats:
139/228 (61%), 2393 - 30/5
132 rushes, 1171 yards, 8.9 YPC, 21 TDs

Those stats are all well and good but what we really want to know is how tall is he? Ha!

No very. Arm strength seems pretty average.

Definite playmaker though.

We’ll need a photo of Davis next to Sean White to accurately determine his height

Recruiting profile says 6'0 but he could be anywhere between 5'9 and 6'1 with how high schools measure things.
