100% that the UGA offer isn't committable and 70% the LSU one isn't either. This isn't Boise State , Harsin needs to realize he can now recruit with the big dogs.

Why do you think it isn’t committable anywhere else or slighting the kid because a year out a rating service has him a 3 star kid. Bet we start seeing more middle 4s and 3s then the Malzahn era. More like the Tuberville era with a little more top end talent on the roster. Some coaches just know what they are looking for in kids. I have no idea if this kid is good or not but just because he isn’t a 4 star doesn’t mean the big dogs might not want him. UGA played a former walkon at QB much of the season.

Mac Jones was a 3 star commit to Bama.

Apologize for replying to myself...

We have to remember a player ranked .8600 at every SEC outside of the top 6 is considered SEC starter level talent. Maybe not as a freshman but should be a contributor in their career.

But this staff must show these kids down here they have what it takes to make players better and win games. We went outside the box it will either pay off or it won’t.

First off, your percentages are feelings. frick your feelings.

Second, no idea, but this isn’t the only QB Auburn is taking this cycle. Might want to pop some midol and hang on

Anything new on Brooks?

Also I think there was a UT RB commit that was doing the #freeme thing too ...

Brooks is all Auburn. Might be a few weeks before it’s official, though

Cody Brown is a guy Auburn liked a lot under Gus. KN hears that Auburn isn’t pursuing Cody Brown right now. Not a lot of info out there right now

Recruiting .8600's is how you become Wake Forest.

Right now an overall .86 put you with a class ranked 23rd with 23 commits.

I'm not talking about a roster full of kids ranked there but you'll see 3-4 year. McCreary was a middle 3 star he's been pretty good.

Agreed. Especially when they’re your whole class

That’s not our situation, however

And Uscher is also pretty active for these commits.

I've seen at least 2 "University of Auburn" from guys that have been offered that Uscher has retweeted while scrolling his Twitter. They cracked the code already.

I saw where Smith is the first OT from high school we've gotten since the 2017 class. I knew it was bad, but that is just atrocious.

I'll take another Juco if Mako wants to join as well.

Sure, at this point, we'll have to take juco or transfers for the next year or two, but the fact that we didn't bring a high school OT in for 3 years is insane.

Gus should have been fired with no buyout for cause. Cause he was a complete failure.

Gotta agree with you there Corch. Obviously not talking about a recruiting class made up of mid-3 star guys, but having a class made up of 1 or 2 5*, a lot of 4*, and then some hungry mid 3*’s can make a great class!
