If we got all of them we would have a 253.81 score on 247 which would have been the 18th best class last year and would put us at 12th for this year currently

Would put us with
1 Composite 5 star (Lewis)
8 Composite 4 stars (Brooks, Hunter, Goodwin, Harvey, Davis, Wallace, Roberts, Robinson)
11 Composite 3 stars (The rest of the class)

Thx. That's where I expect us to be around. I seriously doubt we sign 25 because I think some of the seniors will return for next year

I’m still guessing we’ll finish around 15ish, and comfortably over the 4star average threshold, but we need most of those guys to do it.

My confidence decreases a lot of we shite the bed against MSU this weekend. And some of those guys are worried about staff stability which makes them less certain than usual

I am pretty sure I saw KN say that if closed on all we would end up 15th. There is a huge gap from 15 to 14 I think. I don't think we can finish higher than 15th. I could be wrong though.

I think we are going to get Lewis, Wallace, Young, Wilson, and then a big time surprise. I am calling Scooby a flip. IDK why...I just feel we get him barring any coaching changes. You saw it here first.

I don't put a lot into exactly where we fall but the overall rating more and retention. 15th in my opinion would be a pretty good year considering the circumstances. It would keep us about where our overall talent in the program is at. Around 13-15th depending on which you follow.

Hope going forward we are able to getting higher rated OL with Coach Bick and higher rated WRs.

Agree, I think we need to start rating our classes based on the trenches and I’d give up B- to C for last few.

4* DE George Wilson is visiting campus this weekend. Still can’t meet with coaches or do anything officially with the program but he wants to check out the town and campus. He signs next week

How many last minute flips does Bob Stoops get next week?

Mentioned this a couple of pages back but let’s keep coach speculation at bay (in this thread) for now

There will be time to speculate if we get to it and it will be encouraged then

Well get ready to this class to fall apart quickly with signing day a couple days away... I imagine at least half the guys are going to decommit soon. Really hope Hunter sticks with us..

Edit- Landon King is staying committed

I wouldn’t expect much from this recruiting class. Even if we hire someone tomorrow they’ll have so little time to hit the phones before these kids sign in Wednesday

Jaeden Roberts sticking with his commitment.

King and Roberts sticking gives me hope for Davis.

Edit- Davis is staying committed. Huge news imo.

Trevin Wallace is unsure what he's doing now. Said he spoke to TWill and he said he would be here next year.. UPDATE- Wallace will wait to sign. BIG loss.

Ahmari Harvey is undecided

Roberts now sounds like he's waiting to hear about the OL coach imo.

Lee Hunter is not happy. Didn't even want to talk about it right now.

George Wilson still plans to announce Friday, but gave no hints which way he's leaning. UPDATE- Crystal balls coming in for FSU, one from Wiltfong. Wilson is as good as gone.

Eric Wilson (Harvard transfer) Says he's not sure what he's doing now. Said committing in high school to play 4 years is different than his situation of only have 1 year.

So far all the recruits are surprised and said they didn't think we had a bad season. I'll keep updating when I can.

That tells us all we need to know about the quality of this class

Not sure what that implies? Its not a big class, but the guys we have a very good. You're free to look at current and former player reaction if you think these recruits are alone in their opinion though.

My guess is whoever the next coach is -- we may not know but they know -- they are already calling the top uncommitted names. They won't be wasting a second.

We’d probably know the hire by now if that was true. I know it sounds good but I doubt it

It implies that they're OK with mediocrity. Saying that 6-4 isn't a bad season is ludicrous.

I get the average player ranking looks OK, but the fact the class is as small as it is says a lot as well.

I don't know about that. These kids would take to twitter and the coach would be known immediately after the first phone call.

Yeah that’s my point. These kids are so dramatic. Zero chance they’re keeping coaching secrets to themselves and not telling family, reporters, etc
