Getting cold here in the ATL. Saturday night into Sunday we could see snow in the metro area or it could all stay south of Macon. As of now our area along 85 in Gwinnett has a less than 20% chance of getting more than half an inch.

Been a very odd week for me. Monday I had to have the tension spring in our garage door replaced. Tuesday was the 7th anniversary of our twins being stillborn at 33 week. Today our not quite 2 year old had to have surgery to repair the VT shunt that drains excess fluid from her brain. Tomorrow I turn 50.

JW Marriott and Hilton are the only places with a beach in Cabo that will not drown you

That is a lot on your plate. I pray that your daughter's surgery went well.

Oh, and Happy Birthday.

My good friend raves about the Alaskan cruises. He’s done it twice now.

We had wanted to try a cruise for years but I always stopped short of booking. I was hesitant being stuck on a ship with so many people. We ended up really liking it.

We went with our whole family which made its own set of issues. Haha
However, we decided 5 nights wasn’t long enough and we want to explore more at the ports. Due to small kids we all chose to do beach time at our ports. It was fun and relaxing but I wanted to see more of the islands.

We are planning on the Alaskan cruise August of next year or 28.

My house in downtown Hsv was built in 1960. Lots of improvements but no real insulation in walls. I drip my faucets on nights in mid 20's. Looking at forecast

Damn man. Catch something on fire. Sounds like the house I grew up in.

And I believe that house is why I hate the cold so bad now. It was a farm house that you could see outside through.

Damn man. Thats a plate full. I remember you talking about the twins. Not sure if it were on here or when we talked offline. Hate that and hang in there.

I had those springs break when I was in Georgia too. I am a do it yourselfer but I left that one up to the pros. I read a bunch online about those things and decided not to try it.

Happy Birthday tomorrow. All down hill from here. Not much else I can say and I will not sugar coat it. It fricking sucks. Will be 59 in March. Feel like it too. 50 was not so bad, I have always been very active but Im slowing down. I can just feel it.

Happy Birthday and dont worry. You will have many more

The weather can be hit or miss but that's just the nature of Alaska. We were vere lucky. We did 5 days around Denali and the last day "the mountain was out". The mountain makes it's own weather and is usually hidden in clouds. About 30% of visitors see a bit of it. But, like I said, we got lucky.
