You never needed to apologize Randy, that was your stance and we all have our opinions and beliefs, right, wrong, or indifferent. You’re always good by me. You took a beating too so let’s all move in and hope it was the right decision for all. Like you, I see some issues brewing with College football and I don’t think it ends well.
Slacker, I am not sure Malzahn is a better version of an 8-5 coach or not, but it’s clear the guy they chose to replace him definitely wasn’t. We all know what Malzahn walked into vs what Hugh has. It’s starkly different.
I just hope Hugh is the answer because I’m not in the mood for another fire/pay/hire scenario.

I think Hugh will have some good moments over the next 4-5 years for sure. But I see him as a Gus level guy.
That's just my perception of him upon hiring him. Not gonna watch in doom and gloom fashion about what might happen in 6-7 years and I'll give him his fair shot. He's gotten me excited so far with the recruiting but a long way to go yet.
