Care to give any examples, because he hasn’t shown it on the field? You guys keep trying to convince yourselves that Thorne isn’t trash while he’s leading us to the Birmingham Bowl next season. Those of us that want better than that will not be joining in your delusions.

I also can go back to this season and bring up your posts about Throne needing to be benched for Ashford. The only difference is, you’ve pivoted to the Throne isn’t going to be the same terrible QB he’s been crowd. Forgive me if I don’t join you. He’s exactly what he showed us this season.

Didn't Ashford essentially fall to 3rd string by the seasons end? The kid is a great athlete but he sucks as a quarterback. He would probably be awesome in an offense like air force or the old Georgia tech offense. Not one where you have to read a defense and throw passes.

I dont think you can, because Ashford was getting inserted just as much thus screwing the flow up. I did say he was playing terrible but he was.

We’ll find out next season. I’m more concerned with getting a good quarterback at Auburn.

I’m definitely not trolling. I don’t see how anyone could see PT this season and think to themselves, “hmmm…I really hope that guy is our QB again next year.”

I think most would probably want a sure fire transfer. Just because we say PT is better than RA doesn’t mean we think PT is the answer to all of our woes - just that PT is better than RA.

Fair enough. I don’t share that sentiment, and the numbers back that up. But I’ve also stated that neither should be the QB next season.

Career 8172 yards passing with 64 touchdowns. Seems like a decent qb to me. Not saying he's the best qb in the nation but he's the best qb on Auburns roster in 2023.

This post literally tells me you are trolling. Nobody is confident in Thorne like that. He accounted for 15 TDs in 238 passes and he played at the bottom of the barrell for half of the season. His numbers will be better. Schedule and help should be better. Hopefully he throws 300+ passes.

I have openly said Thorne is trash and I want a portal QB. Thorne is still better than Robby though.

If the warrior that made appearances on a couple games shows up and our WR catch, then he will look completely different

Like a Buddhist monk chanting mantra's. How about O'line, o;line, where art tho oh o'line. Because it wouldn't matter if was Robbie, or Payton, or 'Bo Manning Brady's' back there with this no push gang not holding up their part of the deal.
And yes most of our WR's could have been labeled Wrong Recruits for the job.
And f CHF is good with our QB then maybe he also agrees.
