We haven’t had this bad of QB play since the Keihl Frazier days, so it makes sense.

Beat out? From Freeze’s own mouth, he “gave” Throne the job. He didn’t win it. Also, the “guy he beat out” put up better numbers. So that doesn’t help your cause.

Ashford threw the ball 250 times for 7 TDs, 7 Interceptions and 49% completion percentage.

Thorne only threw the ball 238 times for more yards, 15 TDs and 62% completion percentage on less passes.

PT 2023 stats: 1,671 passing, 520 rushing (started 11 games)
2,191 total yards

Ashford 2022 stats: 1,613 passing, 710 rushing (started 9 games)
2,323 total yards
