I agree. I live like two hours away in Huntsville. I went to the bowl game could see Nissan Stadium. Froze my arse off. Never been to that stadium or a Titan's game. I got friends and family like the Broadway street and the bars. I could careless. Only good thing is at the strip clubs, they can bare all.
The stadium IMO was less than half full yet parking was a beetch.

Auburn bowl games in the last 20 years have not been great experiences. Hopefully, we will just be in a position to make the 12 team playoff in future years and play in games that matter.
By the way...what is the deal with the top 12? Can a team go to the playoffs, lose the first round and still go to a bowl? I would hope not, but i'm sure ESPN would love to suck some more money out of things.

Nah. They are pretty pointless regardless unless you enjoy watching practice games. Outside of each of the fanbases in 2 weeks no one will remember we even played Maryland

I could've gone today but something said don't... glad I listened. Last bowl game I went to was the last Music City Bowl where we kicked the shite out of Purdue.

I was sort of excited that they might come to dukes mayo bowl until i saw ticket prices. Wouldnt even pay that for an iron bowl to see who wins the west. Tv works fine and much warmer in my house.
