Hugh freeze didn’t call that defense you dipshit. That team and players did everything right. Until Koy Moore dropped the punt and Rob Roberts absolutely called the most spineless horrible play you could.

I’ve seen Saban (The GOAT) make some MAJOR errors at crucial times. Besides, while I disagreed with the decision, if you surveyed coaches it’s not like it would be unanimous either way there

He is in charge of the team. Like all the other coaches, he is the one who shoulders the blame. We ran the same defense on consecutive plays. Doenst he have a head set?

I’m inclined to agree w some here. Those last minutes were coaching. So many chances- but the minute I saw 0 in the game I think we’ve seen that act before. Why are we struggling to catch punts and run every kickoff out of the field endzone? I don’t even want to start on the rushing two- he could still be back there right now looking for a receiver. Not sure when I have been so disappointed- and we are talking going back to Barfield here.

I'm still om board with Freeze. But he's got to make sure he knows what's going on during the game, at least in critical situations. When the Iron Bowl is on the line, HE should be making the calls on Special Teams and Offense.
The fact he didn't know Moore was returning that punt is crazy to me.

I mean, why does Saban’s QB run past the LOS multiple times? Why does their center snap it before they are ready? Why do they have so many dumb penalties?
These are kids. Kids are idiots. They will continue to be idiots. There will be times any coach looks like an idiot. And there will sometimes the coach makes an idiotic decision himself. An in-game decision here or there will never make or break a coach, though. What matters most is recruiting, building to a system, roster management, roster development/training, roster retention, etc.
Btw I’ve never been a Freeze guy but nothing suggests he is off track. I think his work at Auburn so far should have basically zero judgment on it so far other than recruiting progress.

There is something incredibly broken about the program and it goes beyond coaching staffs. It starts at the top and it trickles down to the field. Mickey Mouse coaching searches lead to Mickey Mouse results on the field. I wasn’t shocked when we muffed the punt and I was even less shocked we gave up an easy touchdown on 4th and 31. It’s no different than going out of bounds and stopping the clock in the closing seconds and getting beat with those 30 extra seconds you gifted them. Auburn football needs a monumental change in culture before it gets any better. I’ve never believed Freeze was that guy and I’ve got zero reason to believe he’ll ever be that guy.

I don't think it is that bad, but clearly there is genius and stupidity on the staff that needs a serious cleanup.
DC and receivers are the weakest link and I hope Freeze is not like Tubs with his BBQ club of inseparable buddies.

I have said nothing that is not true. The last two weeks are not talent issues. They are games that Freeze has lost in the past. And he is still losing.
