They are talented everywhere but Mond is an idiot. We win.

I bet no FBS defensive coach has ever considered blitzing the A gaps against Gus after a first down.

I bet no DC would ever cover a wheel route to Joiner.

Frightening thought thinking about A&M, LSU, UF, UGA, and Bama D-lines vs. these three stiffs.

For whatever reason, I have a good feeling about this game. Gus has figured out that Horton-Kim-Harrell are a liability and he's figured out some ways to mitigate that. I think Bo has a big game and I also think DJ Williams comes on strong. We've got a shot if we stay away from stupid penalties, and we can cover kicks.

If you don’t settle down, the PTB are going to order a hit out on you. This will be the next and last face you see...

Please, anybody but WMFC! I just lost control of bowels.

Is Wade going to the game?

We need a statue for WMFC!

How is the young running back y'all have at blocking?

Well our true sophomore RB who tore his ACL vs. Clemson was decent at blocking. I had high hopes for him.

His backups are hit and miss, but of course they're having to learn on the fly.

Honestly, if I'm Auburn, I blitz the crap out of us in the first half just to test our O-line and make us prove we can pick up pressure and beat y'all over the top. High risk/high reward, but I think it'd be pretty effective the way we've played so far.

I believe we won't see DJ this season in meaningful snaps...I hope I'm wrong.

Same here. An injury status would have come out by now. Instead we hear the same coach speak from Gus...he's a little banged up. May be able to go. Could use him if needed.

Gus said he’s “hopeful” DJ would play.

DJ had post spring shoulder surgery. He didn’t get cleared for contact until week 2 of fall camp. Then he got a hip pointer in practice before the Tulane game.

I will feel better about this weekend, if Tulane shuts Houston's offense down.

This would apply to both teams I think.

Our 17 hesitation move routes take time to develop.

Your scheme might involve a pass to where the blitzer vacated. A void in the middle of the field. Perhaps this void could be occupied by a large framed man, an end, but one lined up tight to the tackle. I’m not sure what the name of the position would be. Maybe large end, end tackle, or tackle end.

Every since Gus told me (like he was really talking to me personally lol) that Carl Lawson was day to day for an entire season and really had a broken hip....I do not believe anything until I see them on the field.
