He's been a little banged up this year, but he is the 2nd string. He is getting brought up all of a sudden more now on the socials because he had 2 picks against Texas. He hadn't done much of anything up until then.

Honestly I'm going to agree with some of the podcast folks, screw getting a crazy good QB, and just spend tons on the OL and getting a better coach there.

I tend to agree, within reason. We need to fix the trenches. We need somebody efficient at QB but with where we are right now, it won't matter what we spend on a QB if the OL is still trash.
