TBH, I really don't want Stoops.

Amazing we have Gus and perpetually lose four games a year but we're too good for Bob Stoops.

Its amazing how much shite Auburn fans talked on "Big Game Bob" and now they are so desperate, they are wetting their pants over him.

We're not too good for Stoops, but legends of the past aren't necessarily ripe now. It's sort of like in years past when Spurrier would get floated for the Auburn job every so often. I felt the same way about that. It's sort of a "thinking rationally I don't think it's what we need, but if it happened I'd be excited to see how it played out." That's how I feel with Stoops.

Perhaps Stoops has another run of elite coaching in him, but that's pretty questionable. The one thing a guy like Stoops would certainly do is bring a ton of buzz and hopefully set you up for a top tier replacement. Plus, a guy like that probably cares about his legacy and may be reluctant see it decline by hanging on with mediocre results.

I didn't talk any shite on him and there's no way you can convince me he's not an upgrade over Gus.

He's only 59 and went out with two back to back 11 win seasons.

But he didn't coach in the sec so he sucks right

Apparently Primetime is the front runner for the FSU job. Not sure how I feel about that.

So BGB's an appropriate gauge of discontent?

(or just some tripping point)

He will either be a spectacular bust or a decent hire no middle ground.

No way they go that route. Geez.

Bringing in a guy who is 52, and never coached in a game in his life?

what a stretch of a hire.

He is the OC of a high school in Texas but not the head coach so it’s an interesting candidate.

FSU recruiting would spike under Primetime. But most of the really good to great coaches have to go through growing pains to get there. But he could possibly survive that in the ACC especially with him being a legendary former player at FSU.

It’s not like they typically are hurting in recruiting. It ain’t like Penny going back to Memphis. Football is much different

The Arkansas job should be open again in a few hours. Gus needs to go home... For the love of Walmart and Jerry Jones, this needs to happen.
