Also explains how FSU boosters were willing to pay $18mil to fire Taggart. Appearing that “stoops to AU” had some legs last year.

Pretty sure he tried to last year. But another butthurt trustee leaked the info, and Stoops was gone. Atleast that’s how I remember reading how it went down.

Honestly I'm not sure Stoops is cut out for the modern SEC at this point. You have to be tireless and kind of insane.
Stoops strikes me as far closer to Jimbo or Mack Brown than Saban, Dabo or Urban.

No, apathy at this point.
I did find the Stoops thing interesting though. A few insiders elsewhere claimed a big power struggle between a couple of the super rich BOT’s. Who knows.
I don’t see how that guy survived that fall.

Heard that one before. Stoops seems to always say this after a rumor floats. We will see.
TBH, I really don't want Stoops.
He is what maybe 60 years old? And He is going to light a fire at Auburn, w/ recruiting in areas he has never been or gone to before? He is going to stay here long enough to right the ship? Maybe.
