"We have had a very productive offseason. Lot of energy. We are excited about where we are as a team. We have a good idea where we are as a team both offensively and defensively. I am happy with the coordinators on both side of the ball. All of our players are competing and with competition comes improvement. We have not named a starter at QB. All of the potential QBs are capable of running this offense. We will make that determination at a later point. Special teams are where we need them to be. Like our energy."

Thank me later. No need to watch or follow updates on social media. I got this for you fam. Take the day off.

You forgot to add the following statement: "We have had good practices every day as a team and are constantly improving."

My crystal ball is crystal clear. As a fanbase, we know what is going to be said. I wish the school would pay me to go to Hoover and issue the status quo statement.

Follow up question "Has Sean White been able to participate in workouts"

Gus: "Sean is right where he needs to be, and wll continue to battle."

"Sean is a competitor. He has a lot of energy. A leader. Capable."

I really hate how accurate this is. I know all coaches play things close to the (sweater)vest, but Gus is the worst. At least others have interesting quirks like Saban getting super snarky or Freeze pausing for his Hail Marys every few seconds. Meanwhile, we have a bowl of vanilla ice cream that someone left out the vanilla flavoring for. We literally get frozen cream.

OH GOD! NO! Gus is already talking about the "quality depth" at QB. Time to ready the QB Carousel!

Welp, we are done! Should have stuck with "we are evaluating all potential QBs at this point. Every one can run the playbook".

God all mighty! Why did he go off script?!

QB rotation:
1st Down: Sean White hand off
2nd Down: JF3 zone read
3rd Down: Stidham to throw for first

If get in rhythm then run Cox or Kerryon out to QB and run wild cat

I'm not believing shite Gus says about the QB until we see someone on the field. Consistently.

Seriously, I'll bet you'll be able to pick out every sentence you posted above from his interviews today.
quote:

We have not named a starter at QB. All of the potential QBs are capable of running this offense. We will make that determination at a later point.

I am hoping against hope that the final determination in picking a starting QB will come from Lindsey, not Gustav. If that were the case I'd have a lot more confidence no matter who ended up taking snaps.

He took a shot across the bow of bama.

He mentioned that the best weapon on special teams is working on his Masters at Auburn...(and then went out of his way)............while having Grandparents and parents who graduated from bama.

I wouldn't even mention them. He needs to focus on beating shitty thuga teams first.

Gus would not even name a starting QB when we had Cam Newton. You can forget him naming one with these guys.

Well fellas, Gus was a little more animated this time around. Throwing out words like "hungry" and "something to prove". Sorry for my misleading this board. Forgive me.
