That's what's on the 10.5" pistol. 16" gun has a Primary Arms 1-6x that I shoot with both eyes open as well. The 4-14x is only on my 18" gun that's zeroed for 75 grain pills and meant for more precise shots at medium range or dicking around at longer range.
Yes...the LPVOs are taking over...especially for all purpose rifles. I run Red dots on everything I have under 12 inches.

Red dots on pistols sound weird to me.

I’m only just getting a collection started. Have a couple of Walther pistols (PPQ M2). Haven’t decided yet when / what AR I might get. Probably get a shotgun beforehand though.

Yes it’s the holosun h510 on the AK, I really like it. 4 different reticle options, great battery life, holds zero after abuse as well

I’m a big CZ fanboy. I like the p10c a lot, gave mine to my dad because he liked it so much

I have a Remington 1100 that I love to hunt with over the years. I also have a old Winchester 58 that was handed down to me. Very sentimental.

1. Custom AR-15 with red dot sight
2. Mossberg 88 12 ga shotgun w/ optional pistol grip
3. Beretta 92 a1 9mm
4. My carry gun- Sig p229 enhanced elite 9mm
Not much, but I’m getting there.

I dont run red dots on my pistols. I was specifically talking about AR's

1) I was talking about my AR pistol with a pistol brace on it.
2) red dots on traditional pistols aren't as bad as you think. I felt the same way until I tried one. Takes some getting used to but it feels faster to me once you get used to it.

Just saw this thread and wanted to add that anyone thinking about buying a pistol and not wanting to spend a ton of money but still get a high quality gun, check out the Canik TP9SF.
I bought one last January because the deal was so good. Didn't know anything about them, and for just over $300 after tax, I found my new favorite pistol in the safe. It's a damn fine nightstand gun.

Anyone else having trouble finding ammo? The great Joe Hiden scare of 2020 has people hoarding.

Unless it's an odd caliber, just about everyone is having trouble. Maybe finding it isn't an issue. But finding it at a price that isn't ridiculous is. I had to pay $45 for a box of 9mm Blazer Brass FMJ a couple weeks ago. I have misplaced a couple boxes of my range ammo (I know for a fact I bought some a while back, but didn't put them in the safe so couldn't find them to go shoot with my buddy from work). Anyways, I just had to laugh at the price and pay it. One box was the limit at the store too.
I was just getting I to buying guns and shooting a lot back when .22 was hard to come by several years back. That was bad. This is way worse. It's outrageous.

Not having trouble, but it’s more pricy. I’m paying $14 for a box of 20 5.56 rounds, $30 for a box of 50 9 mm. $12.50 for 10 12 ga 00 buckshot. I’ve spent quite a bit over the last 3 months stocking up. There are also limits on how many boxes you can buy at one time.

If you're only looking in brick and mortar stores then yea its hard to find right now. You can usually find SOMETHING in the caliber you need, may not be exactly the round you want, but you can find at least ammo for the caliber online. Gonna pay out the arse for it though.
Ironically the best deals seem to be at the brick and mortart stores when you can find it ib stock. 2 years ago it was easier and cheaper to order online.
