Glad you could find some ammo. Did a little run around Dothan hitting up Gander RV, Rural King, and Academy then to Kaufman's in Dalevile and not a single round of 5.56/.223 to be found.

Have you tried to buy online? I found a good many places that had it online. Kinda pricey but it was at the store as well. The store I got my AR from actually gave me the 250 rounds of 5.56 at a steal. Since they gave me the AR at such a good price as well as the ammo, I didnt ask them for more.

I typically buy online. But here lately when Academy or Kaufman's has had it they've had it around $.50-55/rnd which is way better than what you can find online right now.

I ain't hurtinf that bad right now anyway, was mostly just doing a little run around to see how bad it was. Academy literally only had 28 gauge shells.

Wifey and I both have concealed carry permits and both carry. However, havent gone for anything heavier. Will watch this space.
