Second, Your implication was clearly that deaths were unrelated to Covid. So How about you post the headline of that article

"Staggering Surge Of NYers Dying In Their Homes Suggests City Is Undercounting Coronavirus Fatalities"

Many of those cases are being reclassified as COVID now too.

You've already made it clear you have endless capacity to be wrong. I'd love to see your attempts to defend your other claims.

he specifically says if we do a great job on "new vaccines" we can lower the world population by 10 or 15 percent

First, Bill Gates has been very open about his belief that lowering child/infant mortality rates leads to reductions in birth rates/family sizes. It is the classic "we don't need backup kids" argument.

But let's fact check your claim that he says we can lower the world population by 10-15%

quote:

The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15 percent

Reducing 9billion by 10-15% is approximately 7.5-8 billion. May have been awhile since your last math class but 7.5-8 bil is not a reduction of the world population by 10-15%

I’m happy with it. Shows how people can go nuts in isolation. On the flip side it shows how much time we spend sitting in an office away from family, when it should be the opposite.

It doesn’t have to be black and white to start with, but maybe a 3 day work week with employees showing up at different times and dates.

And for Gods sake open up state parks and beaches so people can get some fresh air. The dumbest shite I’ve seen is closing people off from nature.

What does vaccines have to do with world population growth reduction regardless of how you want to extrapolate that Gates comment?

Doesn't Gates himself have 3 children. Not exactly sure but I think that's correct.

+10000000

Think the spring breakers were the cause of that. Most people aren’t on the beach doing what spring breakers do though

But Alabama kept state parks open the whole time and the beaches are back open now

Think beaches open may 1 but you are right.

Ready to open it back up. We will see politics played between mayors and governors across the country sadly

The Florida panhandle is closed. You’re allowed to walk on it, but can’t sit a chair down until some glorified mall cop on a 250 4-wheeler chases you off - “for your safety.”

salt water and a stiff breeze is as good as any meds out there. And yes these idiot governors based it all on a bunch of spring breakers doing keg stands on a beach.

You still need to see and walk back your previous false claims. It is entertaining seeing you try to double down on outrageous claims

quote:

regardless of how you want to extrapolate that Gates comment?

There is no extrapolation. Unlike you, I've actually watched those speeches from Gates

quote:

What does vaccines have to do with world population growth

I literally just explained it. I'll try to make it even simpler just for you.

Bill Gates is concerned that the world's resources may not be sustainable for 9 billion people. He is trying to find acceptable ways to reduce population growth

Nearly every modern society that has advanced medicine has naturally resulted in decreasing birth rates. Ergo, help bring advanced medicine to the world will help limit population growth.

quote:

Doesn't Gates himself have 3 children. Not exactly sure but I think that's correct.

The epitome of what's good for thee isn't for me...

First, reduced birth rates in free industrialized societies w good medicine is voluntary. He isn't criticizing having 3 children in any comments

Second, Bill Gates didn't start advocating on this issue until his children were born. So unless you are advocating him murdering his children....

245 deaths in NYC from the article is basically 250… sorry you’re to feeble to understand the growing number in average. Re-read the quote from the article. It’s clearly says 245

quote:

I literally just explained it. I'll try to make it even simpler just for you

No you didn’t you went on a personal attack and provided no information except taking one number out the quote and subtracted 15% from it. That isn’t the context at all of the TED talk conversation he was having. It was about population reduction to reduce CO2. If you had really listened like you said then you’d know the context. It’s about population control and reduction for all these folks and “saving the environment” movement. People are cattle to these types of people.

quote:

First, reduced birth rates in free industrialized societies w good medicine is voluntary

Birth rates should be voluntary regardless of society. You sure love having people tell others what they can and can’t do. Brown shirt brigade much??

quote:

So unless you are advocating him murdering his children

I'm against the murder of any children. Regardless if you call it a baby, a fetus, or zygote. Can you say the same?

I will openly admit I can't find the article of about the economy and suicides with the increased number. All other proclamations I have made I have come back with a link or a quote from an article. Sweden was the lowest rate of mortality at one point per 1 million. Now they are clearly not the lowest in Europe because of a major increase in Stockholm over the past week and half. That doesn't change the fact that for months they were the lowest or among the lowest. Like I said do research on your own go back and look at the numbers just 2 weeks ago. Obviously I'm not reading from a article when posting on a message board. Didn't know I was facing CNN fact checkers as I posted. But everything other then the suicide number is easy to find on the interwebz and I'll dedicate some time over the next day or so to try to find the original article I read it from. Then I'll put that in your face as well.

So I think i've addressed pretty much every claim i've made. You haven't provided any proof of anything other then your opinion and what the lame stream media tells you think.

Glad you agree, Sweden is not the lowest in Europe as you claimed nor even the lowest amongst their neighbors.

This is less fun when you just admit you were wrong

You don't seem to read from any articles / other sources of facts. If you were trying to be funny, I'd assume you sourced from the Onion
quote:

So right now you are still batting 0/4 on addressing claims between the Sweden+Suicide claims and the remaining 2 claims you failed to address

-You failed to address your claim that Fox Corp is owned by Disney. You referenced a wiki article that states the opposite

-You failed to address your claim non COVID home deaths in NYC were 250 of which only 30% (75) were virus related.

Look man, on a serious note, I respect your opinion that we should open up even if I don't agree (until we have testing/tracing)

I am giving you a hard time because you appear to be trying to source facts to support opinion/narratives. This has lead to some very shaky if not outright false claims.

There are good arguments to be made to support your cause based on facts/truth. You don't need these outlandish facts/conspiracies, which as Buck pointed out are hurting not helping your argument

I don’t need bunk I admitted I couldn’t find the source to the suicide rate but haven’t backed down from any of the other. But I’ll be back when I find the info. Everything else I have provided baking regardless of how you interpret the information.

Trust me having a debate isn’t about calling someone a liar or creating false information or calling them a moron or any of those things. When you stoop to those levels you lose the argument. That’s what’s wrong with this world. No one can state opinion or fact without someone disagreeing and if you disagree they are the enemy.

Here’s to a safe opening of the country with as few deaths as possible. God is in control regardless of what we think we have control over.

BS. The "idiot" governors were trying to keep people from heavily infected areas bringing that funk into beach towns. Most "beach towns" along the coast are small communities. Those residents (me being one) want tourists to stay the hell away right now.

If you want fresh air, get out in your damn yard and clean it up a bit.

Early in the morning hours.......go dump it in the neighbor's yard you aren't fond of. If there is more than one of those types, spread it around.

Strongly considered that.

Fancy city slicks can dump their trash on the curb. I’m sure my enemies have room to spare.
