Assuming a Xavier win, playing Duke on the 20th will give us a very good litmus test as to where we are and where we need to be.

Yep, nice easy game that allowed everyone to knock the rest of the rust off prior to Maui.

It's a stacked field, so we'll need to be at our best.

Looking forward to seeing how we perform.

The best thing Auburn has working for them is that they no longer have to just rely on jump shots. They have a presence down low. That’s huge for them.

He went off over a really short period in the second half. I'm so excited about our big guys this year.

Son it was better to play a D-2 team for RPI than play a bad D-1. This game does not count as far as the tournament is concerned. More like an exhibition.

I thought the announcers said last night that the game was an exhibition for Miss College but counted for Auburn?

I could definitely be mistaken, but I thought I heard that.

The way I understand it is that is partially counts. Points, win and other stats count but in the eyes if the metrics (rpi, kenpom, net) it doesn't.

Game likely is not taken into MS College consideration for D2 Tournament selection so probably allowed to be removed from official record

For Auburn, official NCAA metrics don't track D2 games but it is reflected in the record W/L + player stats
