I agree. I’ll take our chances against their offense with backup receivers in do or die situations if that means we don’t have to give up any points at all.

I think our offense was 3 or 4 points below the season average tonight. The defense held OM to like 24 points under their season average. If you’d have told me before the game that we hold OM to 20 then I would have guaranteed you that we win. If you you would have told me that we only score 31 then I would have probably guessed that we lose.
This was the fewest points OM has scored under Kiffin. Like some were saying all week, this is a game that you let OM get all the yards they want between the 20’s and make them succeed with a compact defense.
It’s all meaningless now. We won and that’s all that matters

I'm not saying we are 1988 Auburn defensively but holding Lane Kiffin and Matt Corral to 20 points is not a bad effort by any measure.

Banged up OM quarterback and -3 top receivers… Not sure what happened to our offense in the second half, or why Bo got all inconsistent, but the job got done.

Yea, you have to remember that the guys on this board are some emotional wrecks. They type with thier hearts and not their heads.
Sometimes, the estrogen around here is dripping on the floor... Though the defense gave up some yards, in the end it was a great performance
