So he's not making a change.

Thorne will look like a super star Saturday then shite the bed against Arkansas

Harsin is such a ****.....take your 15 mil and GTFA
to be fair, the gut maybe an a-hole and a lousy HC, but he’s probably earned the right to gloat over our monumental program-defining mistakes

makes him a lousy human being as well, but i can’t say i blame him

of course it decreases the odds of him ever being taken seriously as a candidate for any HC gig for probably longer than Tot wandered in the CFB wilderness, but he’s sitting on $15 mill of AU folly, wtf does he care

He did talk about the inconsistent nature of the QB play of his, where one game he looks good, but the next he looks like arse. The only thing going for PT is that he can run, but even then he doesn't have the vision to go for the first down marker when running.

Practice hero, gameday zero. A lot of guys look good with that non contact jersey on.

Im just tired of hearing about the quantum computing complexity of a gameplan. Its friggin football and the product you put on the field is shat.

I dont need to hear about the derivative markets impact on the commodities exchange due the war in Ukraine and how it impacts the price of flour.
I need you to bake a friggin cake.

This and this. We will all be happy "all the kinks are ironed out" then Arkansas punches in the face and the gameplan goes out the window.

And I would not heap too much credit on Durkin.

The def coordinator for Cal took one series to make adjustments.....it took us an entire half.

I used to crush the ball every year in practice, start every year batting 3rd or 4th, and wind up last by the end of the year. Thankfully the coaches didn't let me continue to bat cleanup because i " practiced well"

He’s only thrown 1174 passes in his college career but I’m sure that success is just around the corner. The light will prolly come on at the 1200 mark.

People have to learn to read between the lines. Thorne is basically on his last shot now. He's one bad drive away from being benched. Decent chance Hank takes over by halftime of next game.. at worst he takes over the following game, because we know that mistake is coming. Freeze will be quietly telling Hank to get ready because his shot is coming real soon.

Here's my continued deal with all this, we don't have to have a running quarterback, WE HAVE 3-4 CAPABLE RUNNING BACKS that can do the running hand the ball off. We need the QB to be the passer who sees when 2 guys are wide open in the flat and not to force a 50/50 deep ball only. ESPECIALLY on 4th and 2.

Kind of disappointed. I am not sure if Hank is the answer...........but I would like to see what he can do.

PT just can't decide fast enough in game, the practice isn't showing you what he'll be like in game. Take him out.

Should the practices be changed to include more "game-like" situations?

Never played football or been to a practice so may be a dumb question...

Our starting QB has been in “game time” situations for 5 yrs now… it’s like being in college for 5 yrs and still being unable to graduate.

Yes, Jville and I both agree here so a clear consensus across the board.

Yup. And then Freeze will get the same results as he did last preseason scrimmages when both Ashford and Holden outperformed PT.

what does it prove to light it up against Auburn DB's in practice? that's not a new phenomenon. the DB unit hasn't been strong in forever.

DBs were a bright spot last year. What are you talking about?
