Now: "Good day for us. I've been clear since my arrival that I thought it would take three top-10 classes to overhaul our roster."
Then (2 years ago in his introductory press conference):
"I think we can turn it fairly fast with the new world we’re in."
"It’s much easier to add to your roster now than when it was I took over Ole Miss."
I remember the old days when Tubs was called a “snake-oil salesman.”
Tubs ain’t got NOTHIN’ in the snake-oil department compared to Freeze.

This is our first (likely) back to back top 10 recruiting class since 2016/2017 and highest rated class since 2014. I believe it ties our highest rated class ever on the 247 composite, assuming we stay at 6. Score wise would be our highest class ever.

Btw I think everyone agrees that you need more players and time to be able to win a natty. But bro can’t win 6. All the recruits are not going to fix offensive play calling melt downs. I think Freeze is here to get us recruits and then we fire him for someone that can coach and then let the machine run after that. Cannot afford another bottom dweller season.

Wouldn't the buyout money for that be better spent on NIL to build and keep talent?

So let him stock the cupboard for a few years and then if he needs to be let go, more coaches will want to come where there's already talent.

For fricks sake give it a damn rest. If he don’t get it done next year the seat will be blazing hot going into year 4. I think after year 4 there is no buyout could be mistaken on that but think it’s true

Whoever followed Harsin was gonna have a very tough job. Not saying the players we had were bad but we had what about 43 players and about 30 of those wouldn’t have gotten playing time on the top 5 in the conference teams.

Damn, I’ve been upvoting corch a lot since coming back from ban land. This is 100% correct. The team has been basically coming out of Haskins probation. Let the man rebuild the roster.
