Hell, I’m just tired of looking completely inept. I was long past accepting the reality of our roster, but can we just get a well coached football team? We have regressed in almost every facet of the game from last year. We have not had a soundly coached football team since what, maybe 2017?

Hugh won’t leave a good roster for the next coach. The transfer portal exists guys. The world has changed.

No reason at all to fire a coach after a season and 4 games. We need stability and to hold this recruiting class together at all costs

We have no QB.
We have no offensive identity.
We have now been embarrassed twice in Jordan Hare.
What, exactly, are we selling? What I saw today, we're looking three years down the road. With the portal, three years down the road is a hard thing to sell. Offensively, I expect our recruiting is going to start to fall off. And we still don't have a QB recruited. We'll be going into next season with no clear starter short of what we can buy in the portal. Will Hugh spend to change that narrative? He's been loathe to do it so far.
I don't think firing the coach right now is the answer, but do you honestly see a light at the end of the tunnel with this guy? I'd like your take on what that light is because what I've seen on the field so far is a bigger problem than just talent deficiency.

We are not going to fire Hugh right now. Not even at the end of the season no matter how bad I dont feel. But, I dont see it getting any better. He obviously isnt a great developer. We are a very unprepared team and very undiciplined. Those two problems are hard to overcome. Players acting like they are kings when they are geting thier arse handed to them
I will stick to my original thoughts.
We needed to get a portal QB at all costs
Freeze is not a good game day coach
We may not be talented at some positions but we are way more talented than we are playing under him. Two years in a row
It is not going to get any better either. We will be lucky to get 4 wins this year. Maybe 5 at best which is totally embarssing
Its more coaching than talent. Team is unprepared

You guys member how we got the guy from Ole Miss as an offensive coordinator and agreed to let him call plays to get him out of his contract with them? Good times.

Freeze is a f/n joke. This loser had a 2 year window of marginal success when he was illegally paying players and we have banked our entire program on this moral deginerate. The fact is Liberty is better without him and we have been god awful with him. At this point, just bring in Rush Probst. If there are zero morals, at least bring in a POS that can win.

Agreed. If he can continue to recruit at this level we should be able to improve our roster, worst case scenario.

How long are we required to suffer for hiring this POS coach? Somebody wake me in 3 or 4 years when AU is committed to winning again. We are literally UT from 2000 - 2021 right now. So damn sad what has happened to our progam under the failed leadership of AU athletics.
