I’d take a flat tax for federal. 15 personal, 15 corporate, 15 tariff

State 5

Sales tax of 5

Whatever above 5 percent state the federal goes down so something the states and the fed could work out together

Corch that would allow tax on all the illegals, private jobs, 100s of billions in new income for the govt with little impact on middle class. And do away with the need for IRS and govt control.

Course it would be "an unfair burden on the poor". Really, then why do you tax gas, electricity, and water??????

As JP Morgan famously said, there is the "good" reason...oh taxing the poor, and the "real" reason.....we lose control of picking winners and losers with the IRS

Boy this edge recruiting is going to be something to figure out in the coming months.

Elee....I think he will end up being too expensive
Henderson....Yes, yes and yes please.
Hezekiah Harris.....Ours for now but a lot sniffing around
Anthony Jones....Does he end up at bama
Jordan Carter...Texas a&m for now but visited us for years
Jaquez Wilkes....Pink said we are heavily on him, do we actually recruit as a linebacker? Kid is 6 foot 4 and 220lbs now. I know that is what he is playing in high school but everyone has him as an edge or athlete.

What a difference in years past.

Elee is gonna cost to much imo
Henderson we have a good relationship but doubt we land him
Harris if we make it clear he’s our guy at edge we keep him

Don't have the same butterflies in my stomach about this year's class as last year. I think we really are gonna have to show proof of concept all around to ensure an elite class this year. Of course that could change in a month. I know freeze and Family working hard.

I have heard that we could pay it, but all that will shake out much later in the cycle.

I think we drop the majority of our money on OL and Skill guys this cycle.

No clue who the OL that we are gonna drop big NIL on.

Guess we will have to see how the rankings shake out after spring camps and evals. We are pretty dry for elite OL in our recruiting footprint

Johnny it’ll be a very good class unless we implode and if that happens everyone is getting fired anyway. I’m not predicting a top 5 class yet but I’m getting close. I’m sitting at Top 8 right now with the ability to close a couple big fish to push us into the top 5

I don't either....yet. I think with NIL it's harder to stay engaged this far out. I predict the butterflies will return when we are on the final stretch

Here are some officials visits of linemen from an article recently:

Wilson Zierer OT
Dalton Toothman OT
Dominic Harris OT
Darius Grey IOL 2nd ranked in the country

The aforementioned are not highly ranked, yet, but they all have offers from impressive lists, particularly Zierer.

Seems Smufy is on to something

Any relation to the top JUCO OT Kilian Zierer we picked up a few years ago?

Yes younger brother. I remember Pink said on a recent podcast he went to a camp a week or two ago and suddenly the offers started pouring in bama, Michigan, you name it.

Can we ban the Ozempic from the training facility.....Antonio Coleman weighed in at 247 lbs, or maybe Jourdin Crawford has been stealing his lunch at six foot even and 339 lbs.

I didnt realize Elijah Melendez older brother signed with us in January. Antonio also a linebacker and almost identical in size.

Zierer will be a 4*. That’s at least how he’s graded with us. Brother wants him to come to AU. So we have someone in our corner there.

Didn’t Killian at least have a cup of coffee in the league? Maybe a practice player for a couple (few) years

Probably going to play the 5 tech. He was probably also lighter than listed in recruiting. He was listed 6’ 2” 275 more like 6’ and 265.

He has extremely good get off so the 5 tech might be a great place for him especially after playing the 3 tech in high school. Probably a red shirt guy anyway so put on 20 lbs of good weight puts him close to 265 which is an ok size for a 5

Stunned that DeAndre Carter actually put on weight instead of dropping it. Guy us up to 354. Freeze said glowing things about his talent, but mentioned him needing to remake his body but he comes in heavier? Gotcha

Spring would be the time to do your bulking phase

Is there a link to the official weigh in numbers?
