Who was the RB high school teammate of Marcus that we were in on?
Greg Bryant
He ended up and Notre Dame and flunked out of school after a couple seasons. He was shot and killed in Florida about a year later.

As of right now we have the biggest offer on the table and Ohio State isn’t going to match from what I heard. That coupled with his family loving Au, Sister playing softball here, and him being close to the coaches should be enough to get him to AU.

If Perry is ready to go then our first two WR groups are going to be unstoppable. Is it true he is running first team?

Yes. Was told he was slated for first team and that his game has really come on this off season. Fastest guy on the team

I read somewhere Florida was Auburn’s biggest competition, not Ohio State.
True or no?

"I wanna be just like Perry when I grow up!"
Who was that?

Perry looks and sounds more confident. It sounds like he's about to step up and let people know who he is.

I just want everyone to remember...
When Hugh Freeze and Marcus Davis took over, Auburn had arguably the worst WR group in all of P5.
Now, Auburn has arguably a top 3 group if not higher than that.
What those 2 have done on the recruiting trail is nothing short of fricking awesome.

His recruiting has been stellar. It needs to translate into wins.

AL.com actually doing something right and posting a Marcus Davis recruiting article as tAuburn Board is giving him his flowers. Pretty good article that recaps his nice recruiting run since he got back.
Marcus Davis is building an elite pipeline
Davis also gives credit for his success on the trail to Kenyotta Watson who is working as Auburn's GM.

Davis also added the impact assistant general manager of recruiting Kenyatta Watson played in the Tigers getting Singleton.
“I would not be all the way real if I did not mention [Kenyatta Watson] and the help he was throughout the process as well,” Davis added. “He had the prior relationships, and we just had to trust the process when landing him.”

JLee and folks just mentioned we offered Chris Wells the little brother (literally, as in 85 lbs lighter) of Corey Wells. They also mentioned how we are sure leveraging that 105 scholarship limit with brothers, they mentioned three. But its actually more, I did not realize we picked up Melendez older brother until I looked at the roster.
I think, at least from my very limited skill, Corey Wells looks the best on tape of the DL recruits we are looking at. Moves really well for a man that size and has great length.
They also mentioned Caleb Morris again, every program they have mentioned him. He must be much higher on Auburn's board than the recruiting boards.

Looks like Kaleb Morris now has an official set up for the Kentucky game.
247 said he wants to play inside and Vontrell is recruiting him so that makes sense.
Now tell Deuce and Jase to get on the phone with Corey Wells
