His Rivals (On3) industry ranking still makes no sense to me.
Rivals ranking has him as a 4*, 247 has him as a high 3*. The 247 composite has him as a 4*, but the Rivals industry ranking has him as a low 3*, all the way down to 874 overall

It is baffeling. Has to be ESPN having him unranked.

I can’t make sense of the rankings anymore.
I just look at the offers and go from there now.

I just go with my favorite method that i've used for years, whoever has him rated highest is correct and a bonus half a star if they have a cool name.

Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, and the list goes on.
Good pickup.

Yep. He’s a good playa. Glad we actually landed a legacy type player.

I am starting to think the inmate roster was just getting current after he posted bail

Auburn issued a statement acknowledging the arrest. If they’re sweeping under the rug they’re pretty bad at it.

Not meant literally. Just having fun amidst the pain.

Since this is the recruiting thread the staff expect at least 3 more commits before the season. Those 3 should be big commits.

That would be a ver welcomed end to the offseason.

Im not even worried. So many big names will be moving late. We can just wait and drop bags with Thanksgiving turkey's

Yea, one thing I posted in the Cohen thread was basically that. I really don't care about getting into a bidding war in July. If and when there is more clarity around the NIL stuff, we have a plan in place to act accordingly in either situation. Trying to be final number instead of the first number isn't a bad strategy.

We are targeting a soft number around 18. So we would have sign some very elite players to get to Top 8ish.
Freeze and Company know we have some sophomores that will want a bump in pay at the end of the. That’s why he’s been preaching “roster retention” so much the last month.
This strategy of 2 big money classes as like the last 2 then a more budget friendly class like the current one might be the way to build and hold a roster. Who knows but if the financial stuff changes from the letter of the law then Auburn will quickly pivot.
