St Francis Pipeline continues

There is a 3* CB from there committed to PSU but with out a coach it sounds like they will sign 0 guys this ESD. Wonder if we could snag him.

I’d rather hit the portal hard than sign a bunch of USF commits and other 3*

Agreed. The Bama kid is a shot across the bow, but 3*U[ON] is underwhelming me...

This will be an interesting day. I’m not going to melt over who did or didn’t sign with us today. Golesh was a Recruiting Coordinator and has done big things wherever he’s been.

His offense is exciting and explosive. If an offensive player “decommits”, then it’s probably Golesh telling him that he’s not a fit for his offense and giving that guy a chance to go where he is a fit.

Defensively, since we kept DJ, I expect to see us keep what we’ve had, and maybe add some.

Yeah, but we will likely have a good number of portal losses so the spots will still be available.

I don’t think there’s going to be a mass exodus like when Gus got fired. The current roster is about to get paid to stay.

Probably not going to be an action packed day

Next commitment times (central)

9:30 - 3* QB Rhys Brush
1:00 - 3* DL Tavian Branch
3:00 - 4* DE Jordan Carter (probably going to Tenn)

Corey and Chris wells as some point today. Womack at some point today.

3* WR Brian Williams tomorrow, and 5* WR Jase Matthews on Friday

Yep. Auburn needs to retain the current roster and add via portal. Next year’s schedule doesn’t look very bad with some stuff taken into consideration. If we can land BB from USF, add a solid RB and some OL, Auburn will compete well next year.

Pretty sure he’ll be looking at Byrum Brown …. USFs qb with one year of eligibility remaining.

Here’s his college highlights …. he’s tough to bring down, like Cam Newton was :

Part of likes the way he barrels through guys. Part of me hopes he also knows when to slide.

Fill needs as best you can with this class. It will be meh by Auburn standards. But I bet some of the 3 star guys will work their tail off and I don’t think this staff will pussyfoot around with 5 star divas. They will hold 5 stars to the same standards as walkons or 2 star players.

Also I remind this to the board every year for most high school teams if a 3 star is on the team they are by far the best player on the field.

I’d ride with Deuce. He’s tailor made for this offense.

Seems that was the genius of Tubs. He could take a 3 star or less and having them playing like a 4 or 5 star after he developed them.

Maybe at the smaller schools but you can tell a major difference in a Bobby Coleman or a Trent Seaborn.
