Auburn won’t offer the bs sports management degree that a majority of these kids major in. It cost him McCall last season and Salter (for now) this season.

We need a QB1.

Sure do, although I think Hank and Walker could be the guy. If Freeze would tell below average Thorne to hit the bench.

I dont know if you are right or not. I just feel pretty confident that the jackass we had last year is NOT it

If one of those guys can play, they need to or we are going to be right here again next year. More than likely losing more WR'er to the portal

WR's dont sign to block. The need a trigger man

Hahaha so you’re back tracking again. Thought he was coming after then end of his semester. Give it up get behind the team. Thorne is and will be QB1 unless injured.

Let’s get a couple more weapons at WR and it’ll be time to get ready for the season.

Dang just found out one of my boys committed to UTk. Sydney Walton. Big time sleeper in this class. Great kid plays corner but will more than likely be a nickel or safety at the college level. Dude is just 6’1” now and could dunk in the 8th grade. Explosive. Expect him to get bumps as the camps and 7v7 circuit goes on.

Aside I would have taken Walton over Lane-Ganus every day and twice on Sunday.

I swear, either you can’t read or you can’t comprehend what you read. I never guaranteed Salter was coming.

I am behind the team. That’s why I want better for the team than the worst QB in the SEC. The ones simping for below average, turnover machine PT need to get onboard.

He also inherited one of the most atrocious, depleted offensive lines in CFB….something QBs look at.

Gotta get the big uglies before the guy that stands behind them.

Excellent point. We should have pushed hard for the kid that transferred to Kentucky.

That was a miss on our point

Or to make another go for McCall, who looked excellent in NC State’s spring game.

I thought Thorne looked great in our spring game too.

He is certainly going to finally make the turn.

We could have had a QB with Aaron Rodgers arm and Lamar Jackson's legs behind our OL and our WR group to throw to last year and it wouldn't have mattered

I don't believe that one bit. We may not have gone to the championship but we would've been much better. We certainly would not have lost to a fricking D2 school. Thorne is absolute shite quarterback. He has been since he came to Auburn. He will be after he leaves Auburn. Nothing is going to change that. No amount of time or coaching. we should move on.

A quarterbacks job is to captain the offense, and make everybody better. That guy is not making anybody better.

We are just sacrificing the year if he is our quarterback

Thorne’s ceiling is average to slightly above average. If he had people to actually catch the ball last year and wasn’t having look over his shoulder at Robbie people would be a lot more high on him.

I think the offense will look better under him this year.

Another bad take in the long list of dumbass takes. Thorne isnt the answer, but he is serviceable. You must have forgotten the two QB system he had to deal with and the complete arse of a WR group he had to throw to last year. Or the two offensive schemes the offense had to learn last year or the revamped OL. We had half our roster replaced last year. It was a fricking disaster. Moving forward.

Last year is over. This is a new team. Stop throwing Auburn under the bus because you hate Thorne's performance last year.

We could go get 8 wins this year which is marked improvement.

There is nothing sacrificial about marked improvement.

Is it banner worthy? No. But it is the next step.
