I guess I agree with that but in reality a lot more than four teams are going to die with an ice cold night. Even the most fundamental teams like Virginia.

We just gotta keep the pace up and try to get the ball inside. They couldn’t stay in front of our guards so that helped. Bruce thoroughly outcoached Avery.

Bowl, take this shite to the rant:

Justin Ferguson
@JFergusonAU
Alabama guard John Petty:
"(Auburn) probably has some of the best fans in the NCAA, so give them credit."

Really need to go 4-1 over our next 5... leading to our trip to Lexington. @LSU will be tough... but we should be solid favorites against UF, Ark, MSU, and @VU.

Need Wiley back because Arkansas and MSU have bigs like Gafford that make it hard for us to guard for 40 minutes.

5* Brandon Boston canceled the visit last minute yesterday btw. Will reschedule. He missed a good showing...

A 2020 3* PG in Devion Smith and a couple 2021 prospects visited though.

The more you know:

Scott Scroggins
@ScrogginsNoggin
To put in perspective how many more 3-pointers
@AuburnMBB
has made than any other SEC team, if AU didn't make a 3 in the next 4 games, AU would be averaging 9.4 3s per game, which is still more than Florida, which currently ranks second in the SEC with 9.2 treys per game.

That's great and all but we need to attack the basket. I loved how we did that more against Bama and it worked.

For those who care, we dropped 2 spots in the AP poll from 26th to 28th. Lol

This is dumb - we just blew out a decent Bama basketball team.

Wiley practiced yesterday and will practice, live, today. How much he practices live today and if he plays tomorrow against Florida all tbd.

Per marcello.

As for my thoughts: The Florida game is going to be a good one. Should see a lot of great guard play between the two schools.

It’s a short turnaround from the Bama game and a midweek game but the crowd needs to be just as effective.

I was very pleased with Brown’s driving ability. He helped open things up.

I don't think we've beaten Florida in a while. This is a great opportunity to get a W against them.

The last time I remember beating them is in the 08 SEC Tourney. The only game I can distinguish between then and now is Barbee's last year when we had them on the ropes in Gainesville.. and lost on a brutal turnover down the stretch.

I think you're thinking of the '09 SEC tourney where we went on to lose to Tennessee (BP coached team), and get the #1 overall seed in the NIT.

I remember when we almost knocked them off in Gainesville also in 2014 (66-71). I believe they were #1 or 2 at the time. Unfortunately, I think that might've saved Barbee's job, because it would've been the only sign of a pulse in our program since '09.

Tickets remain for the game tomorrow which can be purchased directly by Auburn, if anyone is interested.
