Man, struggling to put away probably the worst team in the conference at home, dead crowd, not looking good for Steven.

Basketball is a protean thing. In a lot of ways we had to overcome a lot.

Salty about all the offensive calls that put our leading scorer on the bench the majority of the game.

We have to hold court at home. That was a good win regardless.

Do they still take those overseas trips every few years? Feels like we are due for one soon. Would be cool to head to Serbia and let Jovic introduce the players to his home country. We've already done the Isreal trip and there's no real reason to go again (Unless they are paying lol).

SWA hit almost all of his free throws today.

He, Jovic, and Freeman can become a nice core IF we can recruit/portal/develop a true PG and an aircraft carrier to go with them.

Yesterday was another tough game where we are going to lose if someone other than the usual doesn't step up. Anybody remember when we had lost two games in a row in blowout fashion just for Devan Cambridge to hit like 5 threes (yes the cambridge that sucked at shooting for many years afterwards) finished with 26 points and we blew out South Carolina.

Auburn (16-2, 4-2 SEC) had to lean on its role players after the starters went a combined 1 of 10 from the field out of the gate.

We need more Batmans. Overton, Murphy, and Filip are all going to have their nights

This group is starting to act more like a team. Loved the antics on the bench showing genuine excitement for the guys on the court. Some chemistry seems to be developing.

Pettiford broke out in a sweat after a minute or two of play. What's up with that? Nobody else broke a sweat at that stage.

I wouldn't doubt it.
From the way he played last night, he looked like he had a bad hangover.

Pettiford is 7-41 from 3 over the last so many games.

That gets you benched on a team that has other guards. We unfortunately don't have any other guards.

Hall was dreadful last night.

We went 2-19 from 3. No clue how we won.

We're 11-7 overall and 2-3 in conference.

The next 5 games are not going to be rainbows and unicorns.

@Ole Miss
@Florida
@home vs Texas
@Tennessee
@home vs Alabama

Gotta get that Ole Miss game. Florida will beat us by a lot. Texas at home will be a problem. They aren't very good, but very athletic. Tennessee isn't very good, but they are big and will beat us there for sure. I don't think we can stay on the floor with Alabama, but I hope I'm wrong. They will out guard us and I don't mean defense. They have some of the best guards in the nation. Too we couldn't get them on campus.

Must win 2 of those to have any shot at the tourney.

I know that feeling! As noted, my nephew said he is often seen in the local bars on nights before games. If that's true, SP needs to get that under control.
