So many throw aways by Nix were because he didn’t have an option when he needed to get rid of the ball.

This is undoubtedly true.

But there were also many times that Nix could (hypothetically) have had receivers open and it would have taken a Favre-like gunslinger throw to get it to the receiver because of the horrible position Nix had put himself in by his horrible pocket awareness and happy feet/bailing.

If there was one coaching area that was equal to or worse than WRs under the Gus-tard, it was at QB.

I am concerned about Covid costing us players and coaches. With only 50 percent vaccinated. The good news is if they get it early and we get more vaccinated we should be good to go.

Oh boy here we go…

Can we keep this out of the fall camp thread? I started a thread on it just because you know it’s going to be a shite show of arguments anytime you just say the word “vaccine”.

There’s a lot of rumors right now about Harsin having Covid. There’s supposed to be a scrimmage tonight so we’ll find out one way or another, I suppose.

There’s been several guys linked to being out for stretches of camp because of it. Also worth pointing out that Auburn message boarders have a spotty reputation when it comes to rumors

IT is why I mentioned losing coaches and players due to Covid. Reporters are not to report players or coaches that are missing. This is also scholarship weekend, I do not believe we see Harsin or Mason tonight. On a positive note, they will be good for the rest of the season after quarantine. Either getting vaccinated or having the Covid counts toward your numbers.

Others on different boards, have been saying that Natural Immunity didn't count...LOL but if it doesn't then neither should the shot...

I think it counts toward the SEC’s set threshold in a temporary manner, expiring after 90 days or something along those lines.

I don’t want to get down the road on whether that’s useful or not but I thought it was reasonable to mention that fall camp could have some shake-ups if coaches are out. Fortunately, everything is filmed nowadays so they’ll be able to keep tabs on everything going on from afar. And as someone else said, better now than later. We still have to see if the aubie board rumor mill is accurate

Hoke just posted a quote from Harsin saying he tested positive. Said they believe Mason and other players/staff also tested positive. Good news is this gets it out of the way and likely helps with our percentage.

Also Hoke mentioned that Mason and at least one other staff member that tested positive were vaccinated.
