How can Chad Slade start over Young or Diamond?

I'm wondering how we can keep Young off the field. He looked very good those first few games last year before he got hurt.

Grant's been a weightroom warrior since he's been here. He just hasn't seen the field.

Don't think so. Not with CAP and Mason in front of him.

Fannin had Dyer Cam and Mcallebb in front of him.

It could happen

Dyer was a freshman who didn't start right off the bat. Plus he was weak at pass protection at the time. Insert Fannin. Fannin was also a experienced SR.

Grant has zero game experience and CAP is the best pass blocker of the bunch.

It could. But I said I didn't think it would just like you said you think it would.

Grant has always been a weightroom warrior and it has never helped him on the field

He said total yards, not rush yards. There are other ways available for him to get there like returns and pass catches to go along with his edge rushes.

Ok. Well if you include all that, it's not that impressive.

500 not so much. 800 would be pretty good.

It's going to be interesting to see Gus breaks down the rb carries.

2009

Mario Fannin 29 attempts
Ontario Mcallebb 103 attempts
Eric Smith 20 attempts
Ben Tate 263 attempts

2010

Michael Dyer 182 attempts
Mario Fannin 61 attempts
Ontario Mcalleb 95 attempts

2011

Michael Dyer 242 attempts
Tre Mason 28 attempts
Ontario Mcallebb 112 attempts

2012 (Arkansas State)

Michael Gordon 7 Attempts
Frankie Jackson 70 attempts
David Oku 243 attempts
Rod Smith 13 attempts
Sirgregory Thorton 10 attempts

I think the interesting thing will be how Tre Mason is utilized. If he is heavily involved in special teams, I think the split is 60-30-10 CAP/Tre/Grant with roughly 400 carries

That would be roughly 230-120-40

Don't forget to include these #s. It's part of our offense

2009 Kodi Burns 56 attempts
2010 Cam Newton 264 attempt
2011 Kiehl Frazier 76 Attempts
2012 Ryan Aplin (Arky St.) 104 attempts

I am thinking Nick has 150-170 rush attempts.
